That’s why I specified the F-15A with the 100 engines.
And it’s 1.95 at 40,000 feet as that was a testing altitude where it got 2.26 in game.

Well now you mention it the 220 doesn’t seem to offer that much more performance rather it adds durability and automation.
the main improvement of the 220 was reliability but its static thrust is very slightly worse and at speed it is better. its not a huge difference but should still be considered
No I 100% agree.
That’s why I only made a report for the 100 engine.
However if we are being realistic I don’t see it adding more then .1 Mach to the top speed.
it adds a lot of high speed performance

note that this is a slightly heavier aircraft
and also importantly these do not show the absolute maximum top speed, just the speed at which acceleration slows to a set rate, as such in game testing should show slightly faster
also no

no

not really

see above, its a bit over 1.8
as above its not, stop using information for a plane with different engines
I can tell you put next to no effort into this because if you had you would pull numbers for an F15E with -220s because they are aerodynamically similar
edit: before you say something about the charts being AIM-7 and not AIM-120 amraams have a drag index of 1.3 vs 1.8 for AIM-7 both on fuselage stations
It goes from 2 to 2.2
I assumed it added .1 so not too far off.
F-15A with the 100 engines out perform the F-15 with the 220 engines irl I recon the 220 are definitely overperforming
they are not, they are actually underperforming at low to medium speed thrust hence why the F15C is underprefoming in STR at that range
Ah I c now
It’s overperforming at all altitudes based on the CFT and 8 missiles for the 220 chart.
2.23 Mach vs 1.6 ish mate
? not really because no cover page
but also wtf are you reporting because those charts include pylon drag while its not in game
the only ones that mater for in game performance are clean charts because then gaijin applies drag from ordinance to those
I know where that manual is lol
doesnt change the fact that gaijin doesnt care about non clean charts
Unless it’s for sustained turn. They use non clean or clean.
Straight line speed it’s empty
yeah for that they use whatever, and still mess it up
SU-27 is based on a 4 missile configuration
where are the missiles in those screenshots?
Look at the numbers they are just under the wing
No justification for it going 63% the speed of sound too fast
shouldnt you be able to see the AIM-9’s?
