I’m only talking about GRB there. In GRB, the american bomber is bad. It just has “artificial” bombs that really have no real use.
Sure, in terms of ARB, the american bomber is probably better.
But again, the large majority of competitive players only play GRB. So basically, the russian bomber is the META in GRB, and the american one is the META in ARB. But everyone play GRB. So it’s once again a bias

Anyone bring either into ground rb is doing it for the meme. Neither will have the maneuverability or engine power needed to survive that. Neither will be meta in ground rb. They wont even be meta in air rb either.
The tu95 will be, at best, a worse pe8 at a higher br. The only thing it beats the pe8 at is speed and even that is slow compared to the br it is at.
Idk why but in the test drive the tu-95 will shatter when it reaches like 740 km/h the b-52 can exceed 1000 km/h and still be fine, but it’s obviously isnt supersonic

Probably yes, the point is, that while one bomber is slower it doesnt turn like a fricking airline aircraft, and surely, one big bomb is better than carpet bombing 3 grid squares, maybe u get also a lot of kills, but u waste 3/4 if ur payload just to get some kills, while a big bomb or two decently big ones are much better, u can be insanely precise, especially bcz correcting the aircrafts course isnt a nighare as with the b-52 ( 47.0 s turn time )

Idk, for sure none ofthem will be meta, one being superslow ( for it’s br ) and the other being defensless ( ECM and flares/ chaff are ok, but gun bullets are unstoppanle, and being the biggest aircraft in the game doest help with radar even if u have jamming
The ECM will not be carried over. But the chaff should be enough for any plane radar at their br. The spaa radar does not care for chaff so that wont have issues locking.

He doesn’t understand the lifespan of a bomber is very limited in GRB. Throwing a very big singular bomb is always better than throwing your 75 bombs over 10 runs. You don’t need to survive 10 minutes, and your only bomb makes a lot of kills (unless your 75 bombs as american).
Plus again, the american bomber is cooked because of its BR. 8.7 means A LOT of 9.0/9.3 IR missile SPAAs, and even some 9.7 SACLOS SPAAs. The russian bomber has much less problems in that mater being 8.3.
A whole 20s - 30s or so to move out of the way or intercept the bomb.

One thing about that is that you’re assuming the big ass bomb is impossible to intercept, which (at 8.0+) it clearly isn’t.
Honestly, your biggest threat in these planes isn’t really missiles because of ECM.
It’s the fact you are a huge target, so you are very easy to shoot down with guns (especially with F104’s and SU-7’s at 9.3 and 9.0…)
ECM won’t be added to the unlockable strategic bombers. Only the ones spawnable in the event get it
