I am researching apds belts for it.
Anyone know how its apds compares to a mixed AP and HE belt when engaging aircraft?
Worth going full APDS or doing 50% APDS and 50% mixed HE and AP to be able to effectively engage both air and ground?
Personally a mixed HE and AP belt does the business for me as is.

That is crazy, so pretty much no use.
It has huge use when you realize you just need a very short burst of two or four rounds to destroy a single vehicle. The spalling created by 35 mm APDS is incredibely good.
But the AP-I (aka APHE) also is very dangerous against vehicle, you got ~600 rounds in total, more than enough for a good match of shreding vehicles around.
You just keep them in case you meet something you cant pen with standard belt. Ammo switch takes ~1s so its not bad.
This is marksman, not gepard. 460 standard + 40 APDS
Some systems varies the round quantity in total, Type 87 SPAAG is around 620 rounds if I’m not wrong, the system with more rounds in the Marksman family.
The 87 is not in the Marksman family. There are only 2 memebers in game Chieftain and ItPsV
