What are the charges in the Panzerhaubitze-2000 used for? (which is not shooting it so that it blows up)

Charges usually is part of the ammunition as whole but divided in two pieces: The Warhead and the Charge, the charge gives extra firepower, some british tanks has this too, reducing the weight of the ammunition making loading easier and faster (not applied to War Thunder).
