What aircraft can Russia get to "level the playing field" with the newest top tier jets?

Which statement did I make that was false?

Is NATO providing their best stuff to Ukraine?
NO. USA is just clearing out old junk that was going past it’s shelf life or tanks that were state of the art in 2004.

Other NATO nations have only provided previous generation equipment. Not their best stuff.

Russia is using it’s latest equipment except the T-14 and the SU-57, both of which are still “developmental”

Ukraine has destroyed thousands of Russian tanks
Russia has destroyed only a couple dozen NATO tanks (again tanks that are old models by NATO standards) and most of those losses were all in one minefield incident.

When it comes to aircraft, air to air is more limited. However, the F-16’s provided by NATO (again older models than what we make today) is 1-0 vs. Russian aviation. Small sample size, but the best Russian aircraft have proven entirely incapable of achieving any sort of air superiority during the war, let alone air dominanance. This is largely due to, AGAIN, older models of NATO AA, shooting missiles so old they were about to expire.

Ther ONLY country disputing any of the above statements is Russia. And it is established fact that they lie about everything when it comes to the Ukraine war.

What are teh publicly available figures for Russian losses during the months of October and November of 2024?

Their worst two months during the whole war.

And we still don’t have the latest F-16’s, the latest Rafale or Eurofighter, or ANY F-22’s or F-35’s.

We also don’t have Any of the F-18’s yet, too include the E/F models.

Gaijin will have to fairy dust Russia to make it competitive. Like they already do with tanks and Ships, and arguably with Russian AAM’s ALREADY.

This is fine. IT’s a game. But only a Vatnik guzzling vodka will think it is at all “realistic”

To be fair, Top Tier tanks and planes are ALREADY as much fantasy as reality.

What are the UA losses…like 100? Neither side is confirming losses.

We don’t and they will come to game the Su-35M is as close to a Gen 4.5 as Russia
To say Russia doesn’t have anything that could compete with NATO is just wrong.

They just won’t have a top tier to begin with eventually. It’ll end up in a situation like Germany used to be in, where they didn’t have any actual max BR planes.

Completely even with current stuff? Nothing, Su-35 is half a step above.
Su-27M and MiG-29M would probably be slightly behind current top dogs but wouldn’t be too far behind. MiG-29M is not too far off the Eurofighter thrust to weight wise and the radar is pretty good (it’s essentially the SMT radar which is much better than the 27sm one).
Plus the instability alone (even being conservative) would give it a pretty major buff in turn rate, when considering better aerodynamics and the stronger (much stronger considering the improved intakes) in dogfights it would likely kick ass.

on modern stuff like the su57 little doubt about it, but here we are in the late 90s/early 2000s, all late projects from the USSR would fare much better than the some what poor upgrade programs (all born to integrate some of the better features in the older airframes) that are the 29SMT and the Su27sm

None? Current aircraft are perfectly fine as they are… The only thing that IS needed is missile changes, primarily to fix the abhorrently high drag on the R-77.

Sure, they do sound like pretty safe additions. The Su-35 would be a great addition to bridge the gap until TVC capable aircraft are introduced like the Su-37, and the Su-30M is currently perfect for introduction and I’d wager is going to be one of the next aircraft added to the game.

It isn’t? It can hold 20dg/s sustained at low/medium speed and still be able to accelerate.

this was before the recent buff that corrected the thing

Eh, with the current maneuverability changes to the Su-27SM the extra FOV isn’t needed.

Ah, didn’t notice that

Nothing.

The previous iteration of the flight model was not good…hence why you and basically everyone I’ve dueled Su-27 vs F-15 has lost by large margins.

Not really… The Su-35 preceded the Su-33 in development, being based upon the same airframe though with the obvious enhancements to the airframe such as wing geometry.

The MiG-35 would indeed be an upgrade, but I’d much rather take a MiG-29 9.31/9.41 over it.

Do you mean su27m?

Yes?

In “most countries” good or even great military gear still gets delivered even if over-budget and past due date, and can be seen in service by the hundreds of thousands of units often in multiple countries.

Wow this forum is full of delirious NATO fanboys…
