Yeah, it’s beyond repair right now. They need to fix the viggen flight models and engine thrust. The Gripen seemed unplayable last few times I used it (JAS39A)
What’s unique about them? (Not trying to be rude, just curious.)
We can have a F16 that launches IRIS-T against ground vehicles lol
Also they developed Penguin and would have access to their actual weapons Kongsberg made which could help make them fairly unique.

IRIS-T locked to only being used for Ground targets would be very unique imo
Its a block 20 MLU that fired them with surprisingly effective results.

Implement them as ground only, no reason to give Sweden exclusive use to a IRIS-T until everyone else has their missiles but for ground only they could come much sooner.

@Til_Dovre_Faller you’re more familiar with your nations F16’s anything else more unique with them, i can’t say i know everything about your F-16’s
The missile in the image is an NSM -Naval Strike Missile, unfoetunately it was only “fit tested” to show its possibilities
Its however the JSM variant going to be integrated on the recently accuired P-8 Poseidon, wich at the moment uses torpedoes.
The IRIS-T missiles are to be used against air targets, but at one point they got the neccecary technical stuff (i don’t have specifics at the moment) to be able to fire them at ground targets if needed. Norway was one of 3 nations that used IRIS-T on the F-16 (Usa, Norway and Greece)

Yeah i wish there was a more informed site to read, unfortunately Norwegian to Danish via google translate doesn’t seem to give the most accurate responses for me… seriously vexs me with some of these translations.
Welp appreciate the response, didn’t know only 3 nations used IRIS-T on their F16’s. Guess you learn something new everyday.
