Alternatively give the J21R’s the 12.7mm HE rounds. Through preferably both.

Is HE better than brandstiftende like whats seen in so many tracer belts?

Which one?

Isnt that just Incendiary ammo? If so then HE ammo would be far better, plays better with full metal aircraft in game as well from what i remember.

Any of them?

Thank you, i forgor to English and was too lazy to google what it was in english.

But yeah, idk sometimes it feels like HE is super hit or miss

Need to be more specific for the snail

Depends on the gun, some rounds spark more than others. No idea how the m/45 would preform in game but it would still be better than not having it.

As we all have our fingers crossed for the Jas39E and or the NG for next update i was searching around for possible munitions and loadout configurations i came across this render and was wondering if anybody has more information or pictures disclosing if this has actually been implemented/made into real life.
Gripen-e-1-1
On the picture it seems to carry a dual stack of meteors on the 2 and possibly 3 pylons left and right respectively. If this is the case the possibility of an actually potent top tier ground pounder for sweden just grew exponentially.

Gloster Gauntlet

Early biplane for the Finnish line. They operated some other biplanes too, any would be nice to get.

VL Humu

The only other original prop made by finland, the other being VL Pyorremyrsky which is in the game already as a premium. This one had lackluster performance so it would probably need to be lower tier. It’s based on the Buffalo, which already exists in the tree. Not sure how they compare, but this would’ve been a better option since it’s different & locally made.

Saab-105 XT: A export demonstrator variant of the Sk-60. Proposed to several nations with Finland and Switzerland being one of them. Aside from Austria it wasn’t a commercial success. Eventually evolved and super seceded by the Saab-105G

Planes that simply make sense (and which mostly fill gaps):

Rank 2

  • B 16A (Ca.313) - 2.3
  • VL Myrsky (late) [FIN] - 2.3

Rank 3

  • J 30 (Mosquito NF) - 3.7

Rank V

  • J 29A (HS.825) - 8.0
  • J 33 (Venom NF) - 8.3
  • Il 28 [FIN] - 8.3

Rank VI

  • Gnat F.1 [FIN] - 9.0
  • J 35B - 9.3
  • J 34 (U56) - 9.3
  • Sk 60F - 9.7-10.0 (w/ 4x Rb 24J)
  • MiG-21F-13 [FIN] - 9.3
  • Hawk Mk.66 [FIN] - 9.7-10.0

Rank VII

  • J 35J (w/ Kapsel KB) - 11.0

Rank VIII-IX

  • JAS 39E

And some paper planes that would be neat, even if they are extremely unlikely to appear:

  • S 13 - 2.3
  • J 21B - 5.0
  • B 18B - 5.0
  • A 38 (B3LA) - 10.7

Give J29E, no real need for it but we can always have another.

Also give the B17’s the ability to carry rockets.
Saab_b17_RP-3_rocket

I Made a bug Report for the B17 carrying rockets^^

And the J29E would be pretty useful actually stronger engine as the A29B but better energy retention no afterburner tho- would likely be 8.3-8.7

Isnt this already in WT?

I think that is purely a digital mockup. So I wouldnt count on that loadout. But still. 2+2 A2A fit whilst having 5 hard points free is still quite a major upgrade for the Gripen. Especially if it can take twin rack bombs or maybe even Brimstones on their Triple racks and in pure A2A, 2+7 puts it ahead of even in the EFT

The Saab 37 Viggen is going to enter Sweden’s official “cultural canon”, a list consisting of 100 Swedish feats of art, literature, architecture, engineering etc. Maybe it’s something War Thunder could commemorate, as having a fighter jet as part of a nation’s culture canon must be something quite rare.
