Im finishing up japanese air and wondering what tree I should grind next. I already have the mirage f1c (not my favorite plane by any means) and have 8.3 for french planes. Almost done with props for germany and im rank 4 for Chinese planes. I could buy a premium jet to grind either as well with the upcoming sales.
Those early jets will be pretty sour to play, maybe skip them with the he-162
After the butchering of the PL-12s Gaijin just did I would say Germany.
Grind out the Mig-15bis with the Ta-152
I’d say it depends what kind of experience you want, but I’ll keep it simple.
Germany is way more consistent overall. Good guns, solid energy fighting, and the jets are actually fun once you get there. It’s a smoother grind and feels more “complete” as a tree. If you liked Japanese planes, you’ll probably adapt pretty easily to Germany.
China is more of a mixed bag. You get a combo of US and Soviet stuff, which sounds nice on paper, but it doesn’t really have its own identity. Some planes are great, some feel kinda pointless, and the grind can feel a bit random.
Since you already have Mirage F1C, I’m guessing you’ve touched jets, so:
- Want a solid, reliable grind with good late game → Germany
- Want variety and don’t mind inconsistency → China
Premium-wise:
Germany has better options for grinding in general. You’ll get more value out of it long term.
China only really makes sense if you specifically want those hybrid lineups.
If it was me, I’d go Germany without overthinking it. It just feels better to play through.
Im more focused on top tier jets (already have f2 and gripen for japan). I was also considering russia because of the sm2
I really can’t reccomend china in its current state (for top tier).
But also not germany.
If you think about Germany, you should grind UK. They have the same top tier jets… just better. Better euro fighter, better tornado, better f18 and even a harrier on top.
