So i’ve been noticing this over and over. The weld area between two plates often having weak points that don’t seem logical and sometimes letting rounds through. Most of the time i assume its a hole in the armor model and not intential, but then i come across the OBJ 268
What is this? Every one of those pixel gap areas is pennable. The area under the driver hatch is the confluence of 3 plates and should be one of the strongest areas of the tank. Is this intentional?
Not just that, the two left most weak points seem to be able to damage internal components by penning into the area above the track, then the fragmentation magically pass through the side armor of the tank.
You also see this a lot with the Ho-Ri production, where you can pen the exhaust that sits above the engine deck, but then <200 pen rounds go straight through the rear casing while ignoring the armor.
This has to be a bug right?
