Yamato’s fastest documented reload speed was 28 seconds. Slowest documented was 40 seconds and this was based on the elevation of the guns; higher elevation, lower reload speed.
Yes and that is same for British 15’’ gun. 30 seconds is slowest reload for her, and 25 seconds is same basis for 30(or 28) seconds for Yamato. Actually, Renown and Repulse has rumor of faster reload than 25 seconds, try to compensate low number of gun, but I cannot confirm that is true or not.
Well, I mean… going realistic is good and all, but, from what I’ve heard, Russia realistically was unable to make the Soyuz in rl, they couldn’t make the armor, and the shells it uses in game has stats that were all based on paper and not based on real shells used during that period, so that ship is all fantasy… Nothing wrong with bending the rules of realism if it’s to even the playing field a bit
Plus, the size and weight of the shells is a factor I think in reload speed, the Yamato class having the biggest and heaviest

Not only that, placing shell in the barbette makes they took less interest on heavier motor for hoists too

Currently 114k left on Amagi, how is state of Yamato and Musashi as of Heavy Cavalry update? Worth putting time and effort in?

Amagi is made of glass. Mutsu is straight up the better ship.
