Weird graphics bug on Linux

Sometimes this happens. I have to drive away like 100-200m and it is back to normal.
it appears randomly and i do not know what triggers it.
it is not that bad and kinda rare, but i wonder if someone has the same problem

i use a fully updated manjaro linux with KDE. kernel 6.10. mesa 24.1. RX7800XT

I get it too. It seems to happen only on Linux with AMD GPUs.

oh ok. i am not the only one and my GPU is fine.
one also says he has kinda the same on windows with vulkan.
seems to be a game bug then. but yeah. not the bad.

Are you also getting constant micro-stutters? Since upgrading to Arch I’ve been getting them in Dagor games (Enlisted is getting it too plus some texture issues). Tabbing out and restarting can somewhat fix it and make it smooth again.

Hello @longusnickus,

Yes this issue has already been reported and is known.

@SnailAteMyKids,

Regarding your micro-stutters, I’m on Arch+AMD GPU as well and I have not noticed anything like that myself. Could you please submit a bug report on the Gaijin bug reporting platform? Making sure to provide all required files and information.

I can see how this would be annoying but it looks awesome. like a dream sequence of predator or something.

I do remember the stutters happen on other games, but only when they’re lagging. It’s more like it’s flickering, with somewhat random intervals.

In WT it might also be caused by my friends list, which with its size is causing immense lag but only sometimes.

In the Linux client, in the observation mode after death, the camera does not rotate 360 degrees, as in the Windows client. This has been the case for a long time. What can be done about it?

@SnailAteMyKids,

Right, Does it happen if you never open your friends list for that specific session?

@Drunk_Pilot_UA,

This is a known issue, Unfortunately there is no workaround right nor for it.

It can be quite random sometimes. I definitely can’t open the window, as it instantly freezes and crashes the game from the sheer size. But even without doing it, it still makes the FPS take a very noticeable hit until I restart it, which makes it better for a bit. The stuttering has always been present for me on Linux though.

Right, Could you please upload your full system information from the inxi -F command?

i get this bright washed out issue to. opensuse tumbleweed gnome wayland AMD RX 7600S

This is not only AMD graphics issue. I experience it once for ~10 hours of playing on Ubuntu 22 and 24 with Nvidia GTX 1060.
