In the current version, the JH-7A prototype was just released as a gift at a 12.3 battle rating, but compared to the Su-30 gift, those who purchased the JH-7A prototype look like clowns. The Su-30 has stronger combat capabilities yet still remains at a 13.3 battle rating, which is very unreasonable. This means that the JH-7A prototype can only be used as an attacker in 11.7 ground battle matches (although here the Su-30 has a higher rating and is more cost-effective). Therefore, I think we should allow players to research the Su-30 instead of offering it as a gift; otherwise, the strongest ground attack aircraft in China’s tech tree would only appear as a gift.
That’s not gonna happen. Russia and China received the same Su-30 as premiums, so if they make the Chinese one free, they’ll have to make the other two free as well which Gaijin is never going to do.

second of all the Su-30MKM is a malasyan Su-30SM basically
it is nowhere near compareable with the Su-30MK2 or Su-30MKK

besides the fact that the 30MKK gets the Pl-12 and Pl-8 as well ontop of all the russian missiles

This is exactly the part I find most unreasonable. Imagine a 13.3 aircraft equipped with six PL-12 missiles; even with an upgraded N001 radar, it represents a force not to be underestimated. For the same 13.3, we can compare it to China’s J-11A, and the difference is obvious. The Su-30MKK even appeared as a bundle, but think about the JH-7A prototype, which also came as a bundle—by the time we reach 12.3, the opponent already has semi-active guided missiles. The contrast in how these two are treated is just night and day.

it has a MAW, it has better acceleration and the r77 is more than good enough for A2A in WT
most of the time you rather want the extra pull for close range shots than the longer range and less pull of the Pl-12
Just add the MK2 as tech tree no? And put both at 13.7.

well the MKK can equip Pl-12 R-77/73 and PL-8B all at the same time also id take a RWR over a maw, so id say the MKK is just better for the most part

imo the r73 is better than the Pl-8
