At this point it’s pathetic. I didn’t 10 round during with no kills because I couldn’t damaged anyone, but they could one shot me without issue.

Absolutely, HEATFS may be viable at certain BRs but when you deal with tanks that have ERA and composite armor that makes HEATFS obsolete the experience just gets more difficult, this was one of the worst changes and the fact it’s still a thing annoys me so much, Gaijin has made significant progress and I hope that this is reversed soon, they know that this was a bad change.

Yea. It’s the reason why ive boycutted top tier for years… Im not going to suffer through the pain of Stock-HEAT at BR 9.0 or above.

Seems like stock APFSDS has been added to Rank VIII tanks of some nations in a recent dev server update. Here’s hoping it’s still WIP and won’t be limited to the few vehicles at that rank while Rank VI and VII vehicles continue to suffer with stock HEATFS.

Nothing puts me off playing the game more after unlocking a new tank like dying 15/20 times needlessly trying to unlock a dart round whilst waiting for a light vehicle to come across instead of an MBT covered in ERA and composite armour… I’ve easily got over 8/10 vehicles sitting there stock because i know that I’m just gunna loose my **** by simply playing with a trashy round.

where do you see that? I just checked and they all have stock HEATFS
actually as a matter of fact I kid you not you have to unlock R-60s on the MiG-29 before you unlock R-60Ms. so they are doing basically the same thing to top tier aviation. They also most of the time have a tendency to give you HE as a starting ammunition type for top tier naval.
