Warrior IFV: British Taxi

Don't forget - you can now activate video subtitles!

The British started working on their future IFV in 1972, following the example of their Soviet and German counterparts. Engineers developed specifications based on international experience: a 30-mm automatic cannon in a fully rotating turret, a fighting compartment for seven passengers, Chobham composite frontal armor, and a 550-hp engine. Since the plan was to use the new IFV alongside the MBT-80, a highly mobile and well-armored ‘tank of the future’, one of the top priorities was to give the vehicle excellent mobility.

It’s British, not gonna happen

Imagine getting something good

The warrior is one of my favourite vehicles. same gun as the fox, which can kill just about anything if you are positioned correctly, however it also gets atgms which allows you a lot more versatility. I’d like it to have historical protection, but this isn’t a ‘Britain suffers’ moment quite like normal.
