Then the turret is the only option, try to avoir the optics or mg port because they can soak up some shots for no reason
Also, how do you play the 76 sherman. It seems like I got lol center mass penned every time I show any part of my tank at any distance and angle. Plus the gun is actually not that good
Well you are at a BR where the sherman armour is pretty much ineffective.
The 76mm gun is perfectly fine you just should not try to face all the enemies headon. You have good enough mobility to get side shots and the short stabiliser really helps when peeking corners and such

No clue. Follow the advice the giy gave you in the other thread.
Or maybe try realistic. See if you like it. Takes a bit to get used to but try a couple games and see if it works for you.
