The tank is from the US tree. It isn’t the new UK tree version.

I still don’t understand why they copied American WW2 style hull for Italian postwar M26A1, especially since Italian premium M26 already had correct one with rubbered tracks and stuff.
At least we managed to convince them to add some differences to Italian M18 once it was added. M24, M26A1 and Sherman VC still can’t get such treatment unfortunately.

All I know is that an M46 in France is funny and I might get it just from that alone.
I didn’t do the T-10A BP, but even then I acknowledged that the T-10A was unique despite being eh as a top reward. M46 is just as “eh”, and it’s still unique.
The non-vehicle rewards of BP already add far more objective value than the 2500GE put into the BP.
Imagine a match in a Bv 238 with just 20 x C 250 Flamm instead of SC 250 - that are 10 respawning bases or two destructible airfields on the few 3 bases maps :-)

Here’s what I can say after looking at the M46 for the battlepass.
They have copied the armor model from the US M46 directly. Everything is identical.
The 3D model is also copied from the US M46, with only slightly changes which I can literally count using 1 hand.
3D model differences
Starting with the turret.

They removed the gas canisters that are on the side from the French M46.
You can even see the welding lines that previously connect the holders to the turret.
That’s not to say that Gaijin added those welds to the French M46, as they are still present on the US one if you look carefully.

Canvas over the mantlet
This is perhaps the biggest change from the US M46.
Even then it is just an addition over the already existing M46. It has simply been added on top of the turret. In fact, under the canvas you have the exact same mantlet, with the same exact mantlet numbering, and even the bolts that connect the mantlet to the turret front have the same rotation, so without a shadow of a doubt they use the exact same turret 3D model. To do this I went to the test drive, parked myself right next to the Panther and shot its ammunition. The explosion causes the canvas to fall off.
I also want to point out that, when you turn the turret so that the right side is in shadow, the area that would’ve otherwise held the turret canisters gets blacked out. This is further proof that the turret is ripped right out of the US M46. This happens on the US M46 because the canisters cover that part of the turret, making it extra dark, and an oversight happens where if the canisters get shot out that area is still darkened further even though the canisters do not cover it anymore. The bug that happens on the older tank also happens on the “newer” tank because they use the exact same logic and 3D model.
Now for the hull. The only difference is the box, which replaces the set of tools that are on the US M46.
Even still, you can see the weld lines that are used to keep the tools on the M46 in place on the French M46, so they simply removed it and put the box there instead…
In fact, not only can you tell from these screenshots that the 3D model is the same except slightly modified, but the texture is also the same. The exact same pattern of rust and metal is on both tanks, the ONLY THING that has been changed is the base color.

This bp there is only copypastes, no semi unique abilities like the german bomber with his missile or even the american boat in the russian tech tree.
There is still despite people saying in the other thread about the bp, the emblem of the foreign parachute regiment that was dissolved by France for their war crimes and the fact that they rebelled and is only associated with far right.
For some reason there is a lvt-4/40 alongside boats as a reward which makes no sense and last time i checked was labelled “ground rewards”.
And now there is only premium vehicles of rank 2 max in the warbond shop ?
