I just want to get the most bang for the buck while having some cushion ahead for the next shop incase there’s something I want. I guess if I just push it out as far as I can, I’ll get the most warbonds, so I shouldn’t have to worry about it. But I was operating initially on the thinking that the shop would reset each month because of outdated youtube vids.
I was thinking there was some critical mass point where you don’t have to do special tasks anymore, and you can just collect warbonds. Daily login and daily tasks becomes a full level at a certain point, but I guess it will always be more efficient to do special tasks. I just didn’t know what happens at 151 or how long it takes to get there or what is beyond if there is a beyond.
AND it would be nice to know how much I can get from the shop before it resets. Ideally I don’t want to do every special task just for talismans to be at near zero bucks at the next shop reset. How can I hit the sweetspot where I will meet next shop’s shop level without being too far over on warbonds to where I can buy the vehicle after getting enough medals. I guess it’s pointless because early pass levels give large warbond chunks.
It is far more complicated than you think. I tell you, if you feel scammed by getting a nurse pic, then this is MUCH worse. It involves working in a numberspace limited by 3600 too. And that is way more difficult than division by 10.
You can get as many warbonds as you like per season, as told by the wiki, they just get expensive.
The nurse pic doesn’t look like a scam. If you don’t have high rank boats, you can use a Tier 1 british plane I think. It was the current portrait that dumped you into a late game battle on the last mission where you needed all rank 5 tanks and planes except 1 rank 4 tank in usa or ussr.
Yeah this is good advice. Thanks. You had to play several battlepasses to get to this level of understanding though. It would be nice if the battlepass reward list had some kind of repeating indicator for excess levels.
haha
I know this would be a lot to ask of the UI team, but imagine how cool it would be to have some sort of planning overlay on the rewards where you can plot out which challenges you want to do and how many special tasks you want to do. Maybe even factor logins.
So if you checked a box on certain challenges, it would bring up a yellow progress bar on the reward list to see how far those points would take you. Likewise some kind of login estimate slider. Then have this yield an estimated tally on warbonds or something. Obviously a person can do this with pen and paper. It’s just a lot. It would probably overcomplicate the system more than it already is. hahaha
I wouldn’t worry about the Warbonds themselves or getting stuff outta Warbond Shop right away, especially if you’re trying to “justify” any “expense” you might get doing the BP. You could also look at it this way - You buy the “Full Meal Deal” BP for 2500 GE’s and get 15 lvls right from the start. Level 14 grants you 10 days premium time, which if you purchased it, is about half what the BP costs, so . . . boom, you just cut the price in half. You manage to get to lvl 75 and boom! . . you just got 3 vehicles that cost you roughly $2.50 each, and your playing time. EVERYTHING else is a bonus, and you push to lvl 125 and the next BP is FREE, provided you keep all 3 vehicles. You don’t have to sweat the Warbonds, they will come. Every level after 75 the prize is . . . more Warbonds. You just kinda need to wait and see how many WB’s you gather in, stuff you wanna buy and go from there. The only things you really need to buy are the tier booster, for like 10 WB’s . . very reasonable. Everything else you can hold off on until the BP is winding down . . giving you plenty of time to decide, and learn the ins & outs of the BP & Warbond Shop, as you go . . . no need to stress or add more pressure. Just do your Daily tasks, Special tasks when you have time & any of the Challenges that seem like you can manage . . that’s about it. P.S. the levels & prizes do go past lvl 150 - 151, but until you get there, it won’t show you all the extra Warbonds you could get . . . I made it to about lvl 175 on the very first BP . . . I won’t be doing that again . . . lol
True. Yeah a lot of this stuff I don’t think is meant to be sweated out. I think for a completionist like me it just drives me crazy to not know how to get every available vehicle in the time allotted. Everything in the bond shop is pretty much available for GE anyways, so it’s not really a factor of missing out like the reward vehicles themselves.
Ah ok thanks for this. Yeah it gave me some anxiety to just see the list somewhat arbitrarily end while thinking about all these potential points that can be gotten.
Like I said, I mashed the very first BP HARD, only time I managed to do ALL the Challenges and get that 4.5 level boost from doing that. But even for an old hand that is retired and can play as much as I want I guess, it was still . . . a LOT of work. I used to go to at least lvl 150 to get the title, but I have just managed to get past lvl 125 the last few . . . like 134 or so . . . which is plenty. I don’t stress the Challenges anymore, just do the ones I can, but I do pretty much commit to doing both Daily tasks each day and Special tasks along the way too. But there are also always going to be events and new Updates dropping that will distract you . . just learning to be able to do both at the same time, balancing your “workload” and all that . . . still doable, but more logistics involved . . . lol
Read my links, that Info is there, the whole sequence of rewards.
In my case, I have so far collected all three pass vehicles and a rank III and a rank IV talisman. I might get a rank V talisman and the next pass for free, dunno if I care.
But I am not going to “work” on WT for under minimal wage. I have all I wanted, the rest is surplus.
Ok found what you are suggesting is bonafide info in the form of “151 Upward,” but that’s a needle in a haystack. Also I guess I’m supposed to assume that if I didn’t pay for battlepass, all steps after 151 are free. It’s not really fleshed out in a statement of facts. And it’s not in the first link but the second. Also there’s no indication of what happens after 151 in the actual in-game UI.
Once you figure it out once, it’s quite easy.
Current BP is up from 25. 10. 2023 - 24. 01. 2024. That’s 95 days. You will see a timer countdown in WB shop how many day is left in the current season for both BP and WB which is tied to BP.
By leveling up BP you unlock higher tiers in WB shop which grants you higher rewards such as talismans or premium vehicles.
For the WB rewards you need to complete special task. You can buy them for 30 warbonds in WB shop. Amount of ST you can buy depends on how many advanced tasks you’ve completed. For every advanced task you recieve 1 ST token you can buy. ST also gives you 5BP points (10BP points = 1 BP level).
Every day you get a set of easy and advanced tasks. Easy is for 2BP points and advanced is for 3BP points. You have only 22 hours to complete these. Then the timer resets and you get a set of new tasks. You can cycle all tasks for SL if you don’t like the ones you got.
Don’t forget the challenges. You can find the challenges tab if you click on the BP window in the hangar. They unlock gradually, you can’t complete them right away. Some only unlock towards the end of the season. For every challenge you get 30BP points and there is 14 of them. If you manage to complete them all you get extra 45BP points. That’s 465BP points.
Now let’s do some calculations.
Let’s say you started day 1 of the BP season
Solely by loging in every day, you will get 258BP points. (you don’t lose any progress if you don’t skip logins)
Let’s say you want the american ship from WB. Then you need to complete 15 special tasks which will grant you additional 75BP points.
Now assume you bought the 2500GE BP version which gives you extra 150BP points.
You finish your easy and advanced tasks every day for 95 days. That will give you 475BP points.
You also finished all challenges. That gives you 465BP points.
Final calulation: 258+75+150+475+465 = 1423BP points or 142BP level.
This is what you can achieve by buying the 2500GE version of BP, login every day, doing all challenges, completing both daily challenges and 15 special tasks.
You can of course keep going. Last time I managed 52 special tasks because I wanted the 40 special task talisman.
Just speaking in terms of someone on the fence of whether or not to pay for this. You’re faced with a lot of choices without much published or UI information to figure things out.
As for the math, seems like you have to do everything, and the special tasks either compensate for a missed login or task day or challenge fail, and if you do everything everything, you just fly to the moon.
So would you say it’s better to push for a talisman while you have the high rank shop and vehicles while in those WB ranks by grinding special tasks instead of saving bonds for next shop since you get large chunks as you level shop anyway? I thought I was going to chill my way through the rest of the BP, but maybe I will grind out the special tasks.
If you want to get coupons to sell vehicles? Yes. If you just want to reach lvl 75 to get all vehicles? No. You can skip out on half the grind if your goal is to just claim the vehicles.
As for warbonds, I always spend them, because you can always hold only 3600 max. If you save let’s say 1500WB for next season, by the time you unlock appropriate battlepass WB rank, you will get way above that 3600 ceiling which is really wasteful. I always get plenty of them each season anyway. I go for horoscope pinup decal, 1 premium vehicle and 1 talisman and still get couple of hundred of WB left for the next season.
Good thing about special tasks is you can do as many as you want per day as long as you have enough “charges” left. How many you can buy, you can see in the warbond shop context menu I think.
PS: You can always buy BP levels for GE if you feel like not doing the grind. Keep in mind that get’s very expensive very quick.
Yeah I don’t think that’s for people to chunk down large sections of battlepass. You can just buy the vehicles on the marketplace if you didn’t get any grind done. I think it’s for people that are a day or two behind that want to make up for time they couldn’t grind.
For what’s worth: I do the two dailies and the special task every day. I do every ground and air battle challence (don’t do naval since I find naval as interesting as watching paint dry).
If I bought the “improved” battle pass, I always get to level 150. But if I instead used the coupons from the previous one, I sometimes get to level 150 and sometimes I only get very close.
