As far as I’m aware, the first T-84 prototype was made in 1994, with the Soviet Union falling in 1991. Saying the T-84 should go to USSR because it was drawn up, when it was actually produced years later under Ukraine, is a little iffy. I could fully understand if it never left the drawing board, but the fact that it did makes me think otherwise.
You are overthinking this hard
Think about what background flag the Oplot would have in the tech tree.
Now think about what background flag the other 12.0 tanks have in that tree.
I think you can see why that is something Gaijin wants to avoid
To the guy who updated the Berlin map - buddy, the map has become beautiful, but you should be kicked out in disgrace - the southern respawn is now simply impossible to reach if you have something slow, and if the enemy captures that flank, the respawn is completely under fire. You’re a genius! People like you should be hired if the goal is to bankrupt a company.)) You probably also made it so on the Sands of Sinai map that one of the teams can’t reach the left side of the map at the start of the battle without coming under fire from the enemy respawn.
As i said the reason it’s not in the soviet tech tree it’s because politics alright, i really don’t care politics in this game i don’t want to censor history, The T-84 is soviet it was based on a soviet tank designed in the soviet union for the soviet union the problem is politics and Gaijin doesn’t want to be based and yeilds to the twitter mob.
Sadly this going to get taken down
Man i don’t have any problem of letting that flag fly alright and let me tell you the majority of russians don’t have a problem either it’s just that certain perchantage that have been radicalised They just want to avoid the backflash
yes i think we all know that…
I get it you dont care about politics and therefore you dont care about why adding the Oplot is problematic. But Gaijin cares about politics, shareholders care about politics, Ukrainians care about politics and frankly most people do care about politics. Adding the Oplot to the USSR tree only creates unnecessary negative feedback for no gain whatsoever, the tree doesnt even need it.
pretty sure gaijin doesn’t have trade-able stock
You do realize that share doesnt necessarily mean publicly traded stock?
yes i know it’s just means there not allot of shareholders and gaijin could be more risky
thats an…interesting theory
I suppose if Russia were not at war then that particular vehicle and others would be in the tree.
the Oplot dosent belong in the russian tech tree, just like the Abrams dosent belong into the chinese tech tree
Can the US get the Object 478BEM1?
i dont see why an Ukrainian IFV concept/ prototype should be in the Us tech tree either
But they bought them, and as far as I’m aware, still do own them. It’s an MBT too.
but they dont use them
the US probably bought them for testing and thats it, and it is not like the US dosent have enough stuff that could be added
I suppose, would be a cool trophy piece though. Besides, testing is enough to get something added.
for minor nations that is, if they dont have anything to fill a gap in the tech tree
i dont see the US tech tree having any major gaps that would be filled by the object 478
M1A2T lmao
