Pretty sure you won’t want to be playing them in AB - you do NOT want people knowing exactly where you are before you spring an ambush or 2!!
And of course you start with 0 mods…

Well, I don’t normally play RB to begin with, so there’s that. While ambushes are harder to pull off, the guns really need the aiming help to better deal with many of the early tanks, except the St-Chamond. The less than 10 km/h top speeds on the Mk tanks, and even the 20 km/h on Garford are just so bad.
Pls devs, fix the damn suspension of the Chamond. It makes it even harder to use and it’s ugly if you just want to drive it around
What is it about the suspension that you think needs fixing?
I managed to drive through the flanks with the Garford and make it to the spawns, there is no spawn camping protection or warning, this needs fixing ASAP, people are already abusing this.
They need to remove the dirt roads through the no man’s land. A wheeled truck like this is just not supposed to cross the front lines. WW1 Western Front was mostly static for a reason. Nothing could just drive though this hell with 30km/h.
Dusk battles ate cinematic af!
Love this game mode!
Played the Garchomp-Beute on AB. Got 8 kills. They can do pretty well since all you’re facing are reserve tiers.
lol what? What “strange” HE gun is the biggest on the battlefield, and also doesn’t 1 tap most things unless you bring full ammo.
What’s even stranger is your argument, as both sides have the vehicle.
If we are talking balance, the A7V needs to get hit by a truck, the German side must have a 90% wr by now.
I don’t think a single match I played today was won by germany, lok
gotta ask: why are you so obsessed on winning? It gives nothing toward event prizes…
You must be either lying or throwing.
Lol 1 look at the queue and you can tell where the stomping is going.
Your point is also fair, we don’t need to be concerned about victory too much about this event.
but too much broken balance is annoying not just for winning but even affecting the grind for the event.
For example, Day 1 was annoying shitstorm because entente can do basically nothing.
And losing streaks are boring and annoying. Innit?
Not lying or throwing either, first four matches i did were entente all victory finished the task
Then i had 5 or 6 games in Germany to finish the task, lost all of them, although i was in the top 5 and the only reason we lost was capture points
After that i played a few more matches but i either didn’t finish them or wasn’t paying attention
Show your screenshots or stop lying.
Idk if people already anwsered it because i’m a bit late to the party. But they’ll come eventually when the new update drops.
I agree that they would have been cool to get with the event, but we will get them a bit later on. Probably wasn’t a match for the current reserve/1.0 or something along those lines.
Anyways, sorry if this was already anwsered. Hope you have a great weekend!
Honestly I played a few matches & couldn’t really bother anymore. It’s nice in theory but I think it was executed poorly.
Chamond still gets one shot whilst having horrible firing angles and looking like the magic school bus with zero chance of not being spotted.
It really is telling that even in this perfectly confined match, with a single map and only 5 vehicles to balance, they still cannot do it.
No excuses about map rotation or the amount of vehicles involved, this is an event with handpicked vehicles, map, setting, spawn zones and they still cannot even come close to creating something remotely balanced.
That’s true, but players queue not so much for the winning side, but for the OP side (granted, all other things being equal OP = winning). A few years ago there was a Kursk event where the Germans got Tigers and all sorts of stuff with 88s, while Russians got T-34s and other Kursk-era vehicles; German team was 12 players and Russian was 16. In Ground Sim the Russians almost always won (provided the extra players provided airpower), but ‘everyone’ was queueing for the German side. It was good to play Russians - no queue and mostly wins; I liked it and I assume the German players did too, as they certainly queued for it.
The skewed win rate in this WW1 event is not really a problem in itself, as winning is largely irrelevant, but the reason for that skewed win rate - one OP vehicle - is a problem… a problem that would have been noted after the first test game - had there been one.
