Thats not coming for a long time, just like R74, aim9x and IRIS-T etc

Soooo when is the next ban wave so the game is actually enjoyable?

It’s also much harder to find targets. Even in smaller maps, unless there’s an active air battle or a furball going on nearby you can spend most of your fuel just cruising around looking for targets, by the time you find something chances are you won’t have enough fuel to get there, let alone to glide back to base. Even chasing bots isn’t viable when you have to spend most of your fuel getting to them.

Not even “Accepted/Acknowledged” bug reports go anywhere after many months or even years either.

Gaijin, since when is there a BF 109 space program?

This randomly happened, no explosion or anything, i just saw the corpse, looked at it, and then it did this.

After the mess that is the RDF/LT and this update as a whole, I’ve lost confidence on their focus on quality.

LOL that would be me. I alone fly a good share of the Me 163’s battles, which I didn’t realize until reading through this thread haha. Happy to see I’m not the only one who noticed the absurdity of the 163’s fuel change, I was convinced it was forgotten.

To add, gameplay very obviously comes before realism. But, even ignoring that, it’s crazy to advocate for a performance change that cripples the 163 on the grounds of historicity while it continues to face aircraft introduced several decades past the 163’s use.

Among Germany’s awesome, unique set of early jet fighters (the Ho 229, He 162, Me 262’s), the Me 163 was barely holding on as one of the few viable ones. Another nerf, another super unique plane made irrelevant. Sad.

Especially with how shit the German options are at that rank, you’re so limited in options and then they pull crap like this for literally no reason at all.

If you’re going to give it historical fuel levels, it needs to fight historical targets, nothing beyond 1945… if it has to fight things beyond 1945, it needs to have usable fuel levels, this is a joke.

send a ticket with all your evidence to gaijin and maybe they’ll listen

If this is the case can we get a refund? We ain’t bought this tank… 3.0 that mainly fight in 4.0 cause BR reasons… and we know how well this gun performs in 4.0 agains T-34 and Shermans… now the armor is also a joke! But we got the M44 that have ammunition that only entered service around Vietnam… maybe late Korean war… the Vehicle it self was definitely Vietnam/cold war era, now that is in 4.0. PLS Can we have an explanation who in the right mind thought this out in the first place?

What mess? It’s still a fast light tank with a great autocannon.

with litterally everything wrong about it and gajin ignoring primary sources

Russia doesnt need more bias

And its BR is balanced regardless of your allegations.
The round is correct, the reload is correct, the RDF goes 75kph which is allegedly correct.

And Spookston isn’t someone I’ll ever watch due to toxic videos in his YouTube past that may or may not still get made.

has anyone noticed that the graphics look different?

I was particularly interested in this video because he was given a subtle shoutout in the dev stream about this vehicle, and based on what was brought up and the history of bug reports I find it fairly outrageous.

-No, based on available sources pertaining to the RDF/LT, its reload is too slow. It should be around 0.85 sec. The 1.5 is the slowest fire rate according to a source for the HSTV/L.

-the speed is apparently 9kph too slow.

-the round is not correct, it is modeled as tungsten instead of DU and the rod length is incorrect, robbing it of around 100mm of penetration.

-It has an obvious model error by missing a hole on the side of the trunnion.

-It has thermals despite not having the thermal box modeled.

-The sight is wrong, it should be similar to the OF-40.

-There is no world where the HSTV/L as it is is balanced. If it was fixed? Maybe, but it is incredibly underwhelming.

This was just for this tank that was discussed. There is also.

-The M1128’s gun system has a reload speed of 6sec, Gaijin used “engagement time” as the reload instead for 7.5sec.

-Gonna bring up his report for the M41A1 for turret rotation was rejected despite the A1 version was made to increase turret rotation speed.

-Shameless plug to blast them for using an assumption for the operation of a Russian MANPADS to affect NATO MANPADS. “We believe” because “it looks similar.”

I was already pretty annoyed with how they’ve done this in the past, but this update convinces me they are just pushing a product without substance.

1- Which makes 1.5 seconds both plausible and balanced.
2- I highly doubt RDF can go 85kph with an inferior engine to the HSTVL which itself goes 83kph.
3- The round is correct, the RDF was not even the platform alleged to be tested with the over-charged munition. Only HSTVL was ever alleged to have tested the round, and that’s unclear as it was likely a static gun emplacement that was tested.
4- Careful cause x-ray is not an indicator of the 3D model, you have to load it into the CDK and view it that way.
5- This is an error, yes.
6- Alleged OF-40 like sight claim confuses me.
7- HSTVL and 2S38 are not underwhelming vehicles. All I can say is learn the playstyle cause they are potent. I have a high KDR already in my nearly stock HSTVL for a reason, and it’s not cause I’m good at the platform.
8- M1128 has a reload of ~7.5 seconds IRL last I checked, not 6 seconds.
9- I am aware.
10- Okay, and those buffs while it would be nice for Stinger would only increase the BRs of Stinger platforms anyway. That’s the thing, no game has accurate Stingers; not a single one. As much as I’d love to be upset at War Thunder, the fact no other game has them accurate and War Thunder has a BR system to make Stingers usable at a lower BR than they would be otherwise makes it far less of a pain.

11- Then you lack experience in gaming, cause boy oh boy far more games have tons of inaccuracies and the playerbases don’t really care. Whether it’s DCS or otherwise.
I only need list all the “realistic” first person shooters with arcade gun controls.

All I can say is take a step back, acknowledge what’s actually wrong, and enjoy gaming.
All games are flawed, all of them.
All games that exist right now are developed by passionate teams that will make mistakes while loving the project and all the things added to it.

OF COURSE we should push Gaijin toward more accuracy.
We should not tantrum out just cause our specifically loved thing is inaccurate. After all, my favorite modern tank is the Type 10. If I got anywhere close to as upset as you over every inaccuracy of every vehicle I’ve ever played in every game from BF1942 to modern day War Thunder I’d be miserable.

So I appreciate what I have; cause what I have today is infinitely more accurate than what I had 5 years ago, and 5 years before that, and 5 years before that.
And 5 years from now War Thunder will be more accurate than it is today.
