War Thunder "Storm Warning" - Changelog

I hope they can either give it an airspawn, or move all variants down to 7.7.

And move the 8.7 Me-163 and Ki–200 to 8.0 where they shoudl’ve been.

A year ago where it had double the amount of fuel it has today, played in Sim by a player who is still micromanaging it’s fuel and it’s limited ammo capacity of only 120 rounds, and despite the ammo being nerfed into the ground, the 30mm still increase the BR by 0.7 compared to the identical Me 163 at 8.0 simply because it has a different set of guns.

As it fights an F9F with more than 6 times the ammo count and able to carry 4 AIM-9Bs and capable of a higher top speed and no concerns about fuel either… from 2 decades into the future that also sits at a lower BR because reasons.

If the F9F didn’t want to deal with this '‘prolonged harrassment’ he could have just … left.

not sure if I’m missing something here… this video is one year old, the 163 fuel change happened TODAY. It had ~6 minutes of fuel before now ~3.

Yes, and it was on a massive 128x128 map where the width is actually used in full (ergo: you travel farther going from say, B2 runway to E5 superiority objective. Most ARB maps are nowhere near its size outside of the rare vietnam/afganisthan/sun city and even then it’s… flying in a straight line towards guaranteed targets.

It’s much easier to manage fuel in SB than RB due to the fact you don’t need to worry about 3rd parties as much, as well as being able to budget fuel better because there’s no pressure to play quickly.

F-111F is only cleared to use 2 AGM-130s, 4 is only allowed for ferry purposes, as per the flight manual. Not sure why anyway, it can use 4 GBU-15s just fine, and really the AGM-130 is pretty identical as it drops before firing the rocket, but that’s what the manual says…

It uses the same seeker as the AGM-65A/Walleye, so ~3km tracking range is all you get. Little bit pointless to use over the other weapons that occupy the same slot, but at least it’s cool. But easily could’ve been the IIR seeker variant imo.

it’s just unfun gameplay, this plane will be seen one in a thousand games now. Your only options are to fly straight into furball with near zero chances of returning to base. Historical accuracy was thrown out the window a long time ago, just look at the vehicles from this update alone haha.

It’s just completely unnecessary, they just completely lost sight of the fact they’re making a game with nonsense like this, just delete the vehicle then.

The French Hunter F.6 has literally same wings as the British one.

Playstyle in ARB is almost same as Hunter FGA.9 which is premium.

I don’t know about GF, but most of the aircraft are C&P.
Fokker G.IA and Mirage 5BA, F-16A is actually unique but, other aircrafts isn’t.

Then I was thinking of another Hunter with the F1s wings and an upgraded engine.
Spitfire’s a new model BTW, whether or not the other Spitfire was updated to that model IDK.

Considering the Belgian one has clipped wings, I’d assume not.

It’s the same as the premium one in the British tech tree

It is also NOT.

We already have Spitfire with griffon engine and clipped wings as premium.

The Swedish hunter i believe has the older wings and newer engine.

The “new” benelux one is literally better than the british one at a lower br.
I also believe the J34 is 9.0 ? , a full .7 bellow the british one, yet the same BR as the the F1 for britain while being objectively better as it gets 2 x aim9B equivelants, better engine and I believe better avionics, (while the same wings)

Still no AV-8B+…?

They also actively made the gun mantlet higher opening up yet an even larger weakspot on the frontal armour

pzh 2000 still lacks saphei and l15a2. m107 should not have the same velocity as the m44. still lacks spall liners.

Exactly why I don’t bugreport anymore. Had a bugreport they ignored for 2 years. Then suddenly mod replied to it if it is still happening and closed the report a week after no reply from me eventhough steps for easy replication was there. I checked 2 months after his reply only to find it closed. Like are we supposed to check in on it daily for 2 years or what? I mean all they had to do was follow the steps or PM me here… bah. It’s like when they say devserver subject to change before every update and then they deploy clearly broken unchanged things to live anyway.

Other companies pay their own bugtesters. WT players do it for free while being treated like dirt.

It’s fine if they would do that. They can make the Me 163 setup at 100% without being able to turn off engine or throttle for all I care. Afterall the plane was intended to quickly take off, gain altitude, expend all ammo on a bomber and glide back to AF. Important thing is when they do a change like that, they have to adjust BR.

We now have what is essentially a Spitfire if you budget fuel (you have no choice now) with 120 grenades going against Korean war jets. It’s insane.

Yeah same thing happened to me, it was ignored for 6 months and then info was requested and it was locked the next month before I ever saw it.

There is zero integration with the bug reporting and this forum and I’m not going to randomly visit the bug reporting forum every day to check.
