Background and historical context
UN recognition: The ROC was a founding member of the UN and a permanent member of the Security Council, but was expelled in 1971 via UN General Assembly Resolution 2758. Its seat was then given to the PRC.
US recognition: The United States officially recognized the ROC as the legitimate government of China until 1979, when it switched recognition to the PRC.
ROC’s shifting claims: The ROC government in Taiwan maintained a claim to be the sole legitimate government of all of China until 1991. However, its political situation has become more complicated since it transitioned into a democratic state.
The ROC is not universally recognized as a nation, mainly because the majority of countries officially recognize the PRC as the sole legitimate government of China. However, ROC (Taiwan) is a de facto sovereign state that maintains official diplomatic ties with some countries and strong unofficial ties with many others, operating as a distinct political entity despite the PRC’s claims.
Yet again as they intend in the changelog, each of those 3 nations got the Apache got announced for their sub-nations they have ingame, not for the main nation itself.
Indonesia, which is in Japan.
Netherlands, which is in France.
Then why is not the ROC/Taiwan named as the sub-nation it is?
The USSR and GDR doesn’t exist anymore yet I don’t see that it got renamed to Russia and Germany
I would place my word here: The game is designed to please players who are willing to pay. And why would Gaijin not listen to their little request that does no harm to the gameplay or balance?
Or to be straight: prove yourselves that you can provide more purchases than CN players, or just keep crying but nobody would listen XDD.
Yet another featureless update. I don’t care about any of this. Let me ban more maps. You’ve updated Carpathians? That’s nice! But I don’t want to play on this map above 4.0.
The reality is against You. Even the game unintentionally recognizes RoC as an separate country, it has a different flag. You cant even muster one argument thats unrelated to UN. This is hilarious.
