That topic will be disappearing shortly because it’s tied to Dev Server. Just a public service announcement, not judging.
Firstly RoC is still recognized by some countries (For example Vatican). Secondly we have flags of nations that existed before UN or even League of Nations. Since when does UN matter in war thunder? RoC is an separate entity with its own armed forces. The presence of a separate flag in game confirmes this. They should have the accurate flag and a option to use it in this new feature. But gaijin does not want to be apolitical.
All nations are equal, but some nations are more equal than others.

Yeah I asked a mod abt that, I assume it’ll be moved or closed and someone will need to reopen it. I wonder if I can just make one now because it’d be in a different section.
Sure, you have my vote. I’m not hopeful though as a bug report just like it was already shut down over a week ago with no other reason than “it’s intended this way”

Though do not see anything on the tree hitboxes cross maps yet. Guess I can also still go find my floating tree next to the volcano.
I’m not either, but Gaijin has made it pretty clear how they stand on it. They’ll just go down the “China” route for both and then might add the National RoC flag later, but still under “China” (like it was before w/ the Army flag)

And changing the name of a nation without giving any reasons and announcements to me seems like you don’t want to say the truth and you’re denying anything that isn’t your way of thinking, which to me looks like Censorship.

My insights regarding flag mechanics:
In the lobby, it’s quite okay — you can change whatever you want. But in matches, it becomes distracting and loses its purpose. Maybe make it static or something similar, because right now, the issue is that if there are multiple vehicles from smaller tech trees like India, Turkey, or others, their flags are shown — which makes things confusing. And when those players die, their flags disappear. Then what? Someone else takes the vehicle, and the flag reappears again.
It’s quite annoying not knowing what you’re fighting against. What’s the point of having nations if it’s so unclear? Why not have one big flag with a small emblem or fragment showing the tech tree or country of origin — or vice versa?

Air to air missiles haven’t been seen on PIDS however there are examples of air to ground missiles being mounted on it.

Also the manufacturer of the PIDS pylons, Terma, has stated that full weapons capability is retained for the pylons.
It’s reasonable to believe that since air to ground missiles have been seen on PIDS that air to air missiles are also still compatible.
There is a report that was passed to the devs about this but once again nothing has been done with it - The F16AM block 15 MLU cant use MAW/flare pods with missiles

They haven’t given any indication but people will keep complaining until it is added, then they will at some point down the line. How many features and fixes come years late because they aren’t game-defining :sob:
They didnt fix it bruuuh. Surely Musashi gonna have same area with 7 200 shells like Yamato with 70 000 while having like 4x the AA.
