I was expecting the Greek Apache because it’s “unique” now. Isn’t Ka-50 like on every sale ever? Why was it put in this one too? VE, Summer, Anniv, Black Friday and Winter sales. Always there.

AFAIK we have stable, similar number of packs still available in shop, but I did not checked that.

*obviously excluding packs added after last years sale

Yes, and look what happened today. People upset because not everything is on sale.
If you told players what would be included in the sale, you would have got earlier feedback and then you could improve the sale based on that feedback. Then there would be less complaining and less disappointments.

Quite clearly a large portion of the player base care!
The problem here, I’ll repeat again, if the more popular vehicles aren’t discounted on what has always been the biggest sale historically then why would they be so at any other smaller scaled sale?

The probability of people enjoying this sale is much lower than you think. Just look at how many comments this post has received within 5 hours compared to posts posted months ago when sorting by decreasing order of replies.
So yes, the majority of players are disgruntled by this sale. And if you care about making the minority happy while angering the majority, be my guest.

gaijin deliberately avoided American, Soviet and German vehicles.
Because they know the vehicles in these three countries don’t need to worry about sales

Its easy to manage expectations if there are changes etc.
But also seeing that on the sale announcements they removed comments shows that they were well aware how the reposne will be.
Its low effort to do better.

Counting, there are currently 35 vehicle packs in the store that would’ve been available last year’s sale to purchase, and out of these, multiple are not on sale this year despite the fact that they were last year. And even if last year’s previous sale post mentioned “40 vehicles” like it does this year, there weren’t many more than 40 vehicles in the store, and especially if you excludes the ones that would not have gone on sale because they were too recent.

Gaijin, you are a smart company, you should have predicted that this would happen and you should have avoided it. In any case, the biggest loss belongs to the players and please do what is necessary.

Strona you only make this things worst, players are mad, mee too we wait too loong for some good sales and what did we get? I never notice in WarThunder history soo bad sales!!

So the reasoning is “wanting the sale to have different vehicles” But, if you look at the last 2 anniversary sales, everything that was released prior to the 2 most recent major updates was on sale. So why change it now. It worked for all these years, and now they just think “Ah, let’s change the sale”. Seems about right.
