It is true and while some community members cry in pretty funny way rage is not suprising.
Gajin is not obligated to do sales in any kind of form we used or do sales at all, its a fact. They can do whatever they want (as long as its legal). For example hey could move Ka50 to br 2.0, why not? Or promise new SWE top tier jet in 2023 (fingers crossed) :)
Anyway we as community have right to protest and even cry.

There has always been a sale on all store packs except the ones from previous 2 updates every anniversary before this one, so why is this one different? This is why we are disappointed, gaijin has changed their plans for the sales without warning us or even acknowledging us. As their customers we are in fact entitled to know these things
