Did you sell it or just list it for sale? If you sold it you should get the GJN instantly (you might have to refresh the page)

you just wait till someone buys it and then you should recieve your gjn
if you look at the items listing page you will see the sell and buy orders, if you list the item for the price of the highest buy order (or lower if you want too for some reason) it will automatically sell to the player that posted that order, or you can list it at a higher price and it will go on the sell order list and wait for some one to buy it for that price (if no one offers the item for cheaper). Of course both methods require other players actually wanting to buy the item, there is stuff that just doesn’t sell.
