The MK.IV is 10.7…the only non remote conteol 10.7 IFV, and the only one that cant track air targets nor has anti air ammo…
But yeah it does have spikes but only 6 of them, things like the new Freccia on Italy at 10.7 is a rmeote control 30mm turret with air tracking and 10 spikes
You’re best bet would be the STRF 9040 as thats the closest companion to weight, mobility and gun with armor for AJAX
which is 10.3 so again I dont see why it cant go to 10.7 and get the PSO kit if it actually is a substantial armour improvement like it should be
Its armor already matches the 9040 pretty well, with better armor it would probably go up, i mean the AJAX is already better than the 9040 at the same BR, should be 10.7 anyways
@Stona_WT Hey, can we get the laser guided bomb bug that’s been in reported for over 4 months now fixed? We’ve got 4+ reports describing the issue with video evidence and people even breaking down the code explaining what bomb designs will be affected and still nada. Seeing how LGBs will literally throw themselves off from the laser and miss by a mile, that’s quite a game breaking bug to keep this long.

Bombs equipped with IOG also have issues. They do not fly towards the laser-designated impact point but continue forward without adjusting their trajectory. This bug typically occurs during level flight or toss bombing maneuvers.
This issue is unique to bombs with IOG seekers and affects both the SPICE 250 and the LS-6(IR) 250.

If that is the case you are forgetting the existence of some vehicles.

Im only talking auto cannon IFV’s of which the CV90 to my knowledge is also the only 10.7 without air tracking again its the weakest IFV at its BR. Its a 10.3 vehicle shoved at an arbitrary BR and Rank 8 for some unknown reason. Guess the 35mm or 50mm mk.iv would be 15.0 lmao

if the CTC-40 got the armour pen changes it should have to give it around 170mm of pen at 500m then sure it could go up especially with the the PSO kit but as it stands its marginally better then the CV9040C but is not on the same tier as IFV with FNF ATGMs like the CV90 MK4 or the Freccia Hitfist
well apparently because the Ajax has a bigger ready rack, and gets the ability to track air targets it should be the 10.7 and fight IFVs with FnF ATGMs and have remote control turrets
The KF41 has a crewed turret, but is 11.0, and iirc the new Boxer also has a crewed turret.
And as you mentioned already the Jaguar also has crew in the turret.
Honestly for me it won’t make a difference because whenever I unlock it I’ll probably use it in the 10.7 lineup anyway.
its pretty fun so far from my first couple of games, not having a laser range finder stock makes hitting soviet tank weakspots at range a little difficult but it does pretty well vs western tanks
oh also im not really judging how well it does until the BMPT is moved up in BR as its pretty much impossible to kill in the AJAX from front, and with how many players are in it atm every game is vs russia so I cant actually tell how good it is against say the M1 abrams or type 90 or leopard 2a4
also doesnt help every match has been small urban maps where the BMPT is perfect for
Maybe once the BMPT moves up I can actually get downtiers again in my 10.7 US lineup.
Not that I’m doing badly, but only getting uptiers gets boring.
same, most BMPT players are brain dead and just hold W (they still end up with 2 to 3 kills) so if its a map with a flank on it I normally kill a couple before the inevitable SU25K revenge cas

The update itself is fine I guess. Npthing really that interesting aside from the busted Terminator. I’m loving the new hangar, wish it was available for more than just premium vehicles.
