Sorry but thats not how things operate. You do not get to simply ignore forum rules because you dont agree with an answer. Everyone else follows the same rules.
There is no justification for insults regardless of how you feel. Please keep discussions civil and respectful at a basic level. Otherwise we cannot help you at all.
Now provide the information we’re asking after, lest you prove me correct. It seems incredibly ill boding that you will not provide a response to the actual query and instead are deflecting because I happen to be blunt in my approach to it.
Why was the decision made to make GPS guided weapons less accurate than IOG guided bombs?
It seems a completely random and arbitary change that likely has 0 basis in reality for most nations. Unless Russian sources for their GLONASS System which is apparently very unreliable is being used to nerf US GPS or European Galileo systems
GPS can be accurate to within centremetres - Source
SMIN you cant expect every single weapon to have it’s accuracy modeled as what it should be IRL.
Why are the dev team just creating more work for themselves by making these stupid changes to gameplay? Let me just dig out my book of classified sources on Paveway IV and Brimstone.
There has to be a common sense approach, to the unintiated this change once again impacts none Russian nations…
We have a thread with information on how accurate european/american kit is. If they’re modeling the deviation based on protocol, then European armament should be hitting within ~50cm according to said thread, which given it was assembled by directsupport, I am willing to assume is quite thoroughly documented.
So this change is incredibly questionable and the fact they won’t respond to the why with a focus on my being blunt about their poor decision is incredibly ill boding for how well they will respond to bug reports from the playerbase.
friend and me discussed something like that yesterday, i think a better way might be seperate spawns for SPAA, multiple across the map , the new SPAAs have no business beeing on the main battlefield, they are just way to large, “just move out of spawn” gets you killed faster by a enemy tank than you can blink
Its not clear what you mean by this. If there are specific reports in question in need of forwarding, please feel free to link them and we can make sure any valid reports get passed along.
Its very unlikely there would be any drastic changes to a vehicle or anything as the update has only been out for a day and the data is not yet sufficient.
Please, just a single word of acknowledgement that sim isn’t going to be ignored for weeks while we have significant bugs impeding our ability to play.
Aside from “balance” meaning nations that field GPS designated weapons with an explosive weight of <500kg will suddenly be having about a 20% success rate on dropped ordnance. If your nation only fields low weight GPS designated weapons as the primary element in payloads? Good luck, you’ve got dead pylons if you bother to fill them.
It won’t change ground games, you’ll still use IR weapons. But it basically ruins the capability for several nations to engage in air to ground in other modes.
thats why i put balance in “balance” since it rly is just a nerf to alot of nato weapons, … again
the problem is, if its “balance” then as, Smin sugested, bugreporting it probly wont change it
The…What??? maybe for the lower tiers. Why should a bunch of Battleships designed for engagement ranges of 20 km or even more spawn and engage at 10 km or less? Its not what they are designed for, its not what they are good at, aiming at sub 2 km is broken with the indicator jumping around like it has a epileptic seizure or physically impossible due to not enough gun depression or raised bow that wont let you depress the front guns enough. Most of the times in top tier battleships it is better trying to get that damn aim marker on target in 3rd (!!!) person in close ranges than even bothering with gunner view.
And thats besides the point of the anemic maneuverability of most high an d top tier battleships and the fact that their armor vs each other in close distances is basically paper.
