Not at all, we understand that emotions and frustrations are high. There is no denying that and we do not discredit any opinion or feedback of any kind on the subject.
We are following all of it.
That however is not a justification to start insulting staff or community team members.
Interesting system. I wonder how bad faith bug report managers are held… I guess the term in “good faith” or accountable? I feel like a majority of players here know why Gaijin changed to this naming structure; one particular bug manager routinely shutting down certain nations’ reports seemingly for abritary reasons. I personally doubt there was a change up in staff but how would any player know after that event? But how do players know their reports aren’t being subjected to the same but rebranded treatment? I can certainly see why there would be frustration at the bug reporting system.
To clarify tone; I am not trying to sound hostile in case my message is coming across as such. More of a curiosity. Not trying to throw hate or shade, Smin.
If for any reason you believe an answer is not acceptable or a mistake has been made, we have a report system where you can report the post. Even if its staff:
This will then come to myself for the Tech mods, or the relevant equivalents in the Alpha Test and QA teams if it was by one of their staff members too (as not just Tech Mods operate on the CBR)
Failing this, you can also come directly to me via PM to escalate something if its not resolved by the above or by first contacting a Tech / Senior Tech mod.
And it will get ignored just like 90% of bug reports that are legit.
I have 19 bug reports currently opened, 19… one of them for example is that I got charged for getting teamkilled even tho I had premium account and I went - in SL that battle because I got charged for a vehicle repair… this happened 5 days after War Thunder implemented new economy changes including not getting charged for a vehicle repair when getting teamkilled.
That bug report is more than a year old, I think maybe even 2 years and it’s left to rot on a bug reporting page, not a single response from anyone, I provided all of the information, game client version, server replay link and screenshot of the killfed as well as end battle result where it is clearly visible that I got charged for a vehicle repair.
Smin… you are a community manager, you are our voice towards developers and other War Thunder staff, you have to be under some sort of agreement to shift you focus 100% in defending all War Thunder staff from any feedback and ignore any negative feedback we have about some change developers made.
Can you explain me why do we have to spend hundreds of hours researching potentionaly classified information, opening the proper bug report that doesn’t get rejected by bug reporting managers and even when we open a proper bug report, the same gets ignored for years to come by same bug reporting managers? And all of that work wasted because of what? Because someone in development team decided to make a change without any reason let alone source where it states the speciric weapon works the way it does.
The most likely case of this is due to the issues age. It cannot be replicated and was from a much older game version. So no staff member can replicate this specific case. Without clear steps to reproduce or up to date files, this reduces the chance your report can be acted on.
I hope this message finds you well
I was wondering if there are any updates on the future of the falcon series of missiles and if more are coming and if the J35XS will be getting its missing AIM 26B
Thank you for you explanation, I will be closing that bug report because there is no use of it anymore.
But you still missed the point, why did that bug had to sit that long without any response from bug reporting managers? If bug reporting manager replied to that bug the way you did now, I would not have any problem with that, but they didn’t, nobody did, and that’s the core issue, constructive, well writen, loaded with sources (that are not classified) bug reports are getting ignored literally… how can we report an employee if no employee ever bats an eye on it?
Sadly it is a matter of scale. Our team deal with hundreds of reports every week and for every one that comes in and is solved, likely 2 more follow it. The team prioritise issues that are complete with all the necessary details and information, can be confirmed and tested and include the relevant up to date files. As these stand the strongest possible chances of being resolved. We also follow the issues with the most “I have the same issue” marks, as this indicates to us which issues are causing more widespread problems for more people and which need to be prioritised.
Thank you, I will use this chance to point out the issue with A-10C when equiped with APKWS missiles, CCIP stops working when sight is stabilized completely, when a players disables sight stabilisation… CCIP works normally.
I belive this is a bug because on helicopters for example… CCIP for APKWS missiles works always even when sight is stabilised.
I have another question if you dont mind answering
Is Face Hardened Armour (FHA) reportable and applicable to tanks as many ww2 tanks had it but in game are all RHA
Ive seen people treat it as RCA rolled cemented but that gives off the wrong attributes compared to what Britain and USA tested against being that FHA had poor protection from capped shells
He’s asking about the SPYDER because it is currently underperforming
Many bug reports were denied or accepted but never fixed for example the python 5 is supposed to be smokeless and there’s multiple videos proving it including a promotional video from the manufacturer https://youtu.be/30S965BM3IE (here’s the bug report in question: Community Bug Reporting System)
Another issue is that the python 5 seeker has trouble locking fast flying targets that are at an angle of 90° for the launcher because the gimbal doesn’t go past 85°
Also the seeker is missing its optical mode which is one of its key features stated in the missile brochure and the manufacturer website https://www.rafael.co.il/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/python-Air-to-Air-and-Air-defense-Missile.pdf
There is also a bug reports about the python 5 lack of maneuverability and speed
excessive wobble which makes the missile unable to reach mach 2 and unable to pull 50g like it should
here is a video and 2 bug report
