War thunder launcher "could not unpack some files"

so for some weird reason my launcher is now doing this when it was working perfectly fine yesterday and i have not turned off my PC since then, its only been in sleep mode.

ive tried checking the files and that did not fix the problem
running it in administrator did not work
i havent changed the directory or messed with the files so im not sure what caused this
would just deleting aces.exe resolve the issue or would that just break everything?
id rather avoid having to uninstall and reinstall for the next 3 hours

If you haven’t already then an actual restart would be a thing to try.
