If your PC is restarting, I’d be looking at your setup as being the issue.

The first things you do when diagnosing this is to clear the cache folder in the game folder, as well as the compiledShaders folder, then verify files in the launcher.

From there, you may want to look at what overlay apps you are using, such as discord, or steam, or anything like I think you’ll have one for your graphics card. I’d disable those one by one (Just even close them for a go, restarting your PC will bring them back after), and see if any of them stop it doing that.

If it keeps happening I’d check your temps on your CPU and GPU.

Really though I think the cache/compiledShaders and Verifying the game files should get you going though.

It may be an issue with the game because that’s a really big coincidence for this to start after the new update. It has happened to me twice trying to turn on sound mods, and it took a while for the game to even log me in.

It’s not unusual for it to happen at times of a patch, in fact, it’s the most common time for it to happen.

Happens because of patch - “its your setup, not the game”

I recommended what I recommended, you’re only coming in here to try pick an argument.

Your sound mod issue is a you issue, and is unrelated.

Stop trying to prove yourself and make an argument, and question my recommendations, because you’ve done nothing about the issue and you aren’t sharing the issue.

You effectively reinforce that it IS a you issue, because you, and I aren’t facing this issue.

The sound mods are not an issue; they work fine. It’s clicking the button that’s the issue. And just because you don’t have it as an issue doesn’t mean it isn’t happening

So you have it happening right now? Do you? You haven’t mentioned that you do…

As I said, your sound mods are your own issue, and whilst you may be having that happen it reinforces my advice to actually check the files… Your issue, is your own issue…

As it said on the patch notes, use the sound mods at your own risk.

7800x3d 9070xt 16gb ddr5 6000mt/s msi pro b850 msi 850W gold 80+ new pc temps r very good around 60C when playing wt on max settings i js think its war thunder. And its only been happening in war thunder no other game also the settings doesent matter happens anyway

There was more than just that. It also doesn’t matter if it’s only happening in war thunder.

There’s even another post about how to stop AMD/ATI Drivers from causing trouble on the forums here.

Has your crash ever given you an error code? If it hasn’t, hold off on doing this for a minute.

Don’t mind him, he’s upset.

Many can’t handle my contributions on the forums, but can’t make any contributions themselves.

Did you install the OS, or was it all pre-installed for you?

its a custem prebuilt pc so yeah
and im on windows 11

Are you using the vanilla launcher, or steams one? (You should almost be on the vanilla launcher)

No i js use steam

With using the steam client, are you logging in or using the steam credentials to get in, and are you under your PSN account on the steam account?

Did you have to link your email at some point from the wiki here? And did that PSN email, end up being the same as your steam?

I have had many ask about how to link and play on their PSN accounts on PCs, and just want to know how you have fared.

((I would almost try the vanilla client if you are confident in doing so, if you have been accessing your PSN account via the current client and know how to))

i started on ps4 then ps5 now on pc

Same with my RX 9070 XT, huge freezes and black flashes since last update.
Btw, my friend has an RTX 4060 Ti 16Gb and has the same problems.

Since he hasn’t answered you, I’ll do.
I don’t think you can log in to a psn account using steam since it auto connects with your steam account.
So I used the game launcher instead. Then you’ll have to know that when you play a game on PlayStation it will auto create any account needed to play the game using the same infos as your psn account. So if you play an EA game, it’ll create an EA account, a gaijin account etc
So then you just have to launch the game via the war thunder launcher and connect using the email and password of your psn account and you’ll be able to use the gaijin account created by your PlayStation when your first launched War Thunder on it.

Well, you can… You just don’t launch the game through the steam launcher, you use the launcher in the main game folder.

And you still have to link your account through the steps provided in the knowledge base.

You also need to follow the advice given, such as clearing the cache folder, and the compiledShaders folder (Both in the game folder), and from there you can then verify the game files in the launcher.

From there it’s a check your drivers haven’t updated recently, or don’t need to be updated as some people don’t update as it’s wise not to, but when bigger patches happen (And you start having issues), it’s something to actually try.

They don’t need to be bleeding edge, but they should at least be a more recent than say a year.

ive tried 2 diffrent drivers and used AMD clean up utility so its js gajin’s fault
