War thunder is so unstable rn

so for me war thunder is very unstable somethimes ill click to battle or any butten and i get a black screena nd my pc restarts ive tried diffrient drivers for my RX9070XT nothing works ive even tried using AMD clean up. That dint work either does any1 know why this is happening?

If your PC is restarting, I’d be looking at your setup as being the issue.

The first things you do when diagnosing this is to clear the cache folder in the game folder, as well as the compiledShaders folder, then verify files in the launcher.

From there, you may want to look at what overlay apps you are using, such as discord, or steam, or anything like I think you’ll have one for your graphics card. I’d disable those one by one (Just even close them for a go, restarting your PC will bring them back after), and see if any of them stop it doing that.

If it keeps happening I’d check your temps on your CPU and GPU.

Really though I think the cache/compiledShaders and Verifying the game files should get you going though.

It may be an issue with the game because that’s a really big coincidence for this to start after the new update. It has happened to me twice trying to turn on sound mods, and it took a while for the game to even log me in.

It’s not unusual for it to happen at times of a patch, in fact, it’s the most common time for it to happen.

Happens because of patch - “its your setup, not the game”

I recommended what I recommended, you’re only coming in here to try pick an argument.

Your sound mod issue is a you issue, and is unrelated.

Stop trying to prove yourself and make an argument, and question my recommendations, because you’ve done nothing about the issue and you aren’t sharing the issue.

You effectively reinforce that it IS a you issue, because you, and I aren’t facing this issue.

The sound mods are not an issue; they work fine. It’s clicking the button that’s the issue. And just because you don’t have it as an issue doesn’t mean it isn’t happening

So you have it happening right now? Do you? You haven’t mentioned that you do…

As I said, your sound mods are your own issue, and whilst you may be having that happen it reinforces my advice to actually check the files… Your issue, is your own issue…

As it said on the patch notes, use the sound mods at your own risk.
