I had a very strange dream last night that was based in a dystopian future. In the dream the government held an annual hunger games style event known as “War Thunder.” Citizens were “rationed” out tanks during the event, which basically means the government pulled old tanks out of storage and people would come with a card similar to a ration card to obtain one of the tanks. Everyone who had a tank was then forced into an arena to fight like the Hunger Games. The funny part is, nobody had to get a tank with their ration card, it was completely optional. It was only once you had a tank that you were forced into the arena. The last thing I remember was being inside of a tank and stuffing the breach with 5-10 rounds of ammunition at the same time.

Can relate, have odd War Thunder dreams sometimes. Like Tank drifting in large circles and ovals at very high speed (a few hundred kph atleast) on Stalingrad, in the south eastern part of the map, but it was much bigger
Had a dream I showed up to a different high school for a band competition or something, went up on a hill behind it with a few of my friends to chill, turned around and suddenly was launching missiles from am M551 on Mozdok
Yeah not as bad as being chase by said vehicals.
I had the craziest dream about War Thunder. I was playing War Thunder and there were no ghost shells and no shells blocked by invisible poorly modelled object edges.

Haha that’s true. During events I have seen people playing 400+ matches in a single week
I used to have nightmares about being CQC’d in Metal Gear Online, then they would fulton extract me. Then I’d partially wake up, only to go back to being beaten up and fulton extracted again. I just wasn’t used to multiplayer games, I never played many online games until I was in my 30s and I turn 34 next month.
I played Tiberian Sun online when I was 11, and CnC Generals. After that I had a long gap lol, broadband was limited in my country (5GB per month for a long time) but I was an idiot because I don’t think online games would use very much of the data cap anyway. Mainly the lag and disconnections put me off. I tried PS4 Drive Club in 2014-2015 and hated it. Then I learned that you need dedicated servers like War Thunder to have a good experience (at least in my part of the world)
Funny story huh. An inexperienced New Zealander goes into multiplayer, get terrified of being killed, and I never really played a brutal multiplayer game in my life until about 2020 HAHA. It legitimately gave me nightmares of sorts when I wasn’t fully asleep. In Metal Gear Online people can grab you, choke you and then throw your body off a building. Really not great for my nerves at first.
