Ah yes let’s only talk about German low tier Ground not like the same thing applies to the us but including air and Russia gets the same treatment but at top tier
In 3 year I lost 80K subs but War Thunder still not dead game lol.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I don’t have a problem with the body pillows or even the gooner bait necessarily, as long as they are properly maintaining and handling the actual vehicles, maps, and game modes first and foremost. I LOVE whimsy, I think the world needs MORE whimsy, but not at the cost of maintaining the actual infrastructure and mechanics we came here fore in the first place.

Well, they try to “update” the game inserting new mechanics an stuff…
I can see the effort, to be fair.
The problem is that still the game has bad maps, still the game has bad balance , still the REAL game modes are “events” once in a while…
And their quality in realism when it comes to vehicles as showcased (not the model) has dropped a lot.
I won’t “they don’t care” … i’ll say they have MANY , TOO MANY fronts open at the same time.
And that leads to nowhere.
If it wasn’t monopoly at this point people would turn away.
Going downhill because of copy-paste yet i see you constantly supporting it, Usually when it benefits the Brits.
The difference is context. I’m fine with copy-paste if it’s purely used to:
- Fill gaps that cannot be filled with domestic equipment.
- Is used for premiums so domestic equipment can go into the tech-tree.
The problem is Gaijin aren’t doing this. All they’re doing is adding sub-trees and using that as a vehicle to copy-paste.
When it comes to the UK, what you’re accusing me of is wanting lend-lease or vehicles that were developed as apart of lend-lease expressly at British request yet sit in the US tree (Locust for example, which solely saw service and combat with the British).
The British received over 7000 Sherman V’s (M4A4’s) yet Italy, France, and China get an M4A4? The Sherman V was so common in British service they more than doubled their own Cromwell production of around 3000 vehicles.

Copy and paste is the least of War thunders problems.
The need to cater to the Russian player base is a real problem for none Russian players
The constant refusal to not update game modes is also a massive issue
The complete disregard for balance or an enjoyable experience is also another.
Gaijin have killed every single game they have developed, the outliers being War thunder and Enlisted but Enlisted is tanking.

Giving the Brits more Sherman’s doesn’t fill any gaps because there is none in their tree in Sherman ranges, They have one of the largest low ranks in the game right now.
I hope it does. They cant fix the BR system of 80% of uptiers or the map rotation having the same 3 maps over and over again especially in top tier. They set up for Russian succes with closed in maps and the point and click to win method. Gaijin sock cmockers all say it’s skill issue and all that BS but they know it’s true. I’m a good player according to the rating system and I know it’s not a skill issue. Not only that forcing us to play in SA servers as OCE makes it worse. They don’t give a flying fuck about their player base and I hope they get some competition so we can all turn our backs and piss on Gaijin.

For me it’s simple: if a tank was used in large quantities by other users, then it should be included in those countries’ tech tree. The Sherman III (M4A2 with early hull) and the Sherman V (M4A4) were models used extensively by the British, so they should have them in their tech tree. Another example would be the M4A2 75mm and M4A2 76mm, which the Soviets received in significant quantities, being in fact the main users of the 76mm model, which they have premium status in their tech tree, but not the 75mm.

And even with competition, it’s a hell of an attempt to even get started. MMOs are the airlines of the videogame industry. People seriously underestimate how incredible it is that WT is still around, there is a very small number of MMOs that are this successful for this many years, and any competitors seeking to get started face a massive mountain to climb. Not just because of the usual superficial considerations (number of vehicles etc etc) but because it’s really hard to incentivise monetisation for players that have already put plenty of money into WT.
