You can see from Infantry mode tester - War Thunder — official forum and sorting by “date added” that they are constantly adding new players, even between CBTs.

It really feels like being spat on the face…
I mean I know it’s not personal, and that it’s a random pick, and blah blah. But still. Thousands of hours, hundreds of euros, 12 years of daily dedication (pretty much half my lifespan lmao), among the first applicants… and still nothing.
Meanwhile I see comments on social media of people recalling being accepted yet not even trying it out.

Hi, As a veteran WarThunder and an Enlisted player, I feel a bit disappointed that I haven’t been accepted into the Infantry CBT for the 3rd time yet. I hope I get accepted next time (or even this time).

I made a post during the second phase about the frustration it caused, naively thinking I might have the opportunity in the next phase, but I’m forced to admit that I can go back to where I came from and continue grinding like a robot.

I haven’t even played War Thunder for the last couple of weeks, other than 3 quick matches as to not being banned from the Forums.
As a ground top tier player, the game has become stale after 2+ years of ground top tier being sidelined by top tier air.
Infantry was my only hope of getting something refreshing related to modern ground, so I applied on Day 1 hoping to be picked for wave 1, or at least wave 2, but here I still am like an idiot lol.
Like… literally ALL I want is a reason to come back to the game. It’s the first time I don’t play for so long in these 12 years, but I just don’t have the motivation.
Why don’t you try air?
Oh I’ve played plenity of air, but the gameplay doesn’t really click on me.
I generally have fun at first, but it ends up getting stale when most matches go down the same way and appear to rely more on random chance and missile count and quality than strategy or skill.
