Good day everyone,
I am running into an issue in War Thunder that I have not been able to resolve on my own and I am hoping for some guidance.
After downloading recent updates or new content, it appears that a new setting has been enabled automatically. I did not activate it intentionally, and so far I have not been able to locate where to disable it.
The problem occurs in Air Battles, primarily at low altitude. When flying close to the ground, my aircraft no longer executes certain maneuvers correctly—or at all. It feels as if an automatic protection or assist system is active, preventing aggressive control inputs near the terrain in order to avoid a crash.
Example:
When flying low and attempting a strong roll input using the ailerons (for instance to rapidly bank the aircraft for tight turns or evasive maneuvers), the input is partially blocked or heavily dampened. The aircraft refuses to drop a wing as commanded, as if the game is trying to prevent a ground collision—even though the maneuver is intentional and fully controlled.
This becomes especially problematic in head-on engagements and dogfights, particularly when the opponent is using missiles. Due to this restriction, proper evasive maneuvers or aggressive reactions are no longer possible, which significantly degrades air combat performance.
My question:
Does anyone recognize this assist or control-limiting behavior, and know which setting is responsible for it and how to disable it? I suspect some form of Instructor intervention or an automatic safety limitation, but I am not certain where exactly this can be turned off in the settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Check your Instructor, sometimes it enables itself after an update

As @racimazzedine showed and @Dontkev-psn explained, you have to make these chances manually, I noticed that this issue returns regardless after test driving an aircraft and is persistent during the test drive of an aircraft.
