I don’t mind the new sounds, but it does get tiresome how they constantly change the sounds, mostly for no benefit. It’s like their sound guy has to fill his days with something…

I’ve played many different games over the years, and I’ve never seen one that feels the need to change their sounds every other update. Make no sense.

Two new points added to changelog:

Aircraft > Weaponry:

  • F-5E — CCIP for the guns has been removed. Sources: T.O. 1F-5E-1 (1978); T.O. 1F-5E-1 (1984); T.O. 1F-5E-34-1-1 (1980).

Customization:

  • The camouflage requirements for the new reserve boats have been recalculated (decreased).

Any of the litany DX12 and RT issues being addressed?

Instead of them worrying about reserve boat camo - which I imagine 2 people might be interested in. How about they take notice of the 10 threads with an aggregate of thousands of negative comments now concerning the butcher job they’ve done to naval arcade aiming. I’m not going to list all of the issues with it here because it would take me all day. It’s a garbage system which so far it appears about 2 players that popup on every thread enjoy. 1 of which is the 1 that asked for the change - when literally no one else that actually played Naval Arcade asked for it and 64% of people said no on their original suggestion thread, yet here we are with a new system no one wanted. You’ve got players with 10,000 Naval Arcade battles consistently reporting the mode as unplayable now and stating they get zero enjoyment out of the game now and won’t continue because there’s no reason to continue playing like this. The Aiming system has removed all skill and instead made the game feel like a turn based mobile game. The new system has killed naval arcade and NO the majority of Naval Arcade players do not want to go play realistic we want the mode we’ve put thousands of hours into back please because as of right now they’ve simply removed the option to play the mode by keeping this new aiming mechanic. You’ve got people joking about reading a book or watching tv while playing now. That’s how mindless it is with this brain rot point and click adventure. Please change it back it’s not a 50/50 scenario it’s more like 99% against and 1% for this new system.

You mean the naval arcade aiming that makes the game mode as enjoyable as it was for me in 2018?
Arcade aiming was worse than realistic game mode, and that’s why I only really played RB.
With these aiming changes I’ve been enjoying arcade more often.

Ah here’s 1 of the 2 players now. We just need “Kweed” and we’ll have both of them.

I do appreciate you throwing your support behind this new aiming system though Alvis since you are usually on the wrong side of all debates.

Good to know you support BR compression, airfield camping, and every other contrary viewpoint the smart people in the community has.
After all, if you didn’t have those views you wouldn’t have claimed that the views contrary to those are the wrong side.

Know your subject before posting, or your post is suddenly opposing the vast majority of good ideas.

Can we know the thought process behind adding another KH slinger to top tier?
To literally every single player, the decision makes absolutely no sense.

The fact that it is a “fighter” makes it so you can scout 4 people, spawn in the Su-30SM with 6 KH38MT, fire them off, get a minimum of 4 kills, and then J out, spawn in the Su-34 “Strike Aircraft”, drop at minimum 4 more kills, RTB, the fly out again and drop another 4 kills minimum, in the span of about 4 minutes makes top tier incredibly NOT FUN.

For the same reason we have 2 Hammer slingers, they were ready to add to the game.
Rafale is the most OP CAS in the game, 2nd to none.
And there are another 12 OP CAS incapable of dying to SPAA including Su-34.

New SPAA is being worked on, be patient.

I would edit my post to add Hammers as well. They are just as egregious.

Been waiting on the “new spaa” for about 2 years now since they introduced the Pantsir lmao.

I have been running out of patience from the last few updates as well. Many others are too.

They announced multiple times that new SPAA is their priority this year.
Japan’s Type 81 is going to get an AI controlled search radar this year as well judging by how quick their development of that feature is going.

Pantsir sitting uncontested for two years. They’re definitely working on it. I bet George R. R. Martin finishes the next Game of Thrones book before we see another capable SPAA.

I predict that refence landing with some and completely going over the head of others.

That’s great it’s a “priority.” The Eurofighter was also a priority, and we see how they have pushed that to the top of the list /s
Turret baskets have also been made a “priority” and we see that there’s 2 sets of tanks that have it.

There are over a dozen or so tanks with turret baskets.
And Typhoon has had many “buffs” since release.

Pantsir is the best SPAA and has been for 2 years. Have fun playing a helicopter against one.

Same situation as playing a helicopter against an ADATS. Helicopters have been shafted in ground RB for over 5 years now since their BRs were first put into parity with top SPAA in 2019 & early 2020.

That’s simply not true, cause 99% of the players don’t go to the forums. One problem is that devs didn’t tutor players to the new system.

What “tutoring” is needed? Point at ship. Press button. Repeat. Such compelling gameplay.
