I mean granted is he played 10 games and lost 8 of them to Russia, it would be 80% to him specifically. Yes the 57% is an average across ALL games but it doesn’t factor games unique to each player. That’s why you get discussions like these.

And for your point on “just aim for the lower plate”, what if that’s not an option? On MBTs I have a backup option of shooting the driver’s port/breech, but on the BMPT the LFP is the only viable weakpoint to hit frontally unless you want to pixel hunt the cannon breeches (and hope that player doesn’t have any more ATGMs)
My point of aiming for the lower frontal plate is not to be used as argument to how stupid is. I’m mocking @MR_BOOMBASTICc to neglect how T58 was unbalanced using the quote:
That would magically make the vehicle more fair, this also applies to the BMPT and how lazy Gaijin handles these damage models in-game. Almost that it seems that doesn’t work, some penetrators can pierce through Terminators’ front arc turret, although not very reliable it was one of the ways I was destroyed the most when I played BMPT last time.

10 games is also a terrible sample size btw, not accurate at all as even tiny changes can screw it over
Here’s an example, I used to have an 8.2KD in the Thai Gripen (this screenshot is just before I got it so take my word for it since I didn’t save it)
After I got the 8.2KD I died once, that single death resulted in my KD dropping a LOT. Now it’s much lower than before
Statshark has a significantly larger sample size, making it more accurate.

On the 5 crew BMPT you only kill the guys in the turret and it’s a rather small spot to hit.
I was merely referring to his 80% generalization. Most players like him would absolutely quit after a 10 game streak like that.
you’re still disabling it
it’s similiar to shooting an MBT in the breech, disables turret crew but not its ability to move etc

Why are you using a 6.7 tank at top tier?
The chances of facing a BMPT directly from the front are rather slim as most players will usually be on a slight angle which completely changes the equation. For example these 2 images are direct front at 500m from both M774 and M900 against the TT BMPT.
My friend started match while i had 6.7 preset equipped, either way it shouldnt survive so many HE shells

Personal experience isn’t evidence of something being more or less armored.
T-90M has a bit more UFP armor than BMPT, and significantly more turret armor.
BMPT’s armor is closer to T-80U than T-90M.
And Leopard 2A7V - Strv 122 has more armor than BMPT.
