The fuze setting is not what you guys said you were adding on the roadmap. you guys said that you would be adding the ability to control fuze settings in battle for high explosive, fragmentation and radio fuzes. I am still not able to set the fuze distance on my VFW and flak slf.

Amazing update 👍 one thing I wish though is the dirt coming off the tank when firing. Chunks coming off is fine, but a complete cleaning of the tank down to clean paint when firing? Immersion goes away with that one.

I don’t get your point, those vehicles obviously were unbalanced at 1.0 and still are immensely powerful at their new BRs with less pen.

The Wiesel is at 7.3 as well and while I’m sure they could go down to 7.0, putting them any lower would just lead to even more BR compression.

You can’t even kill a KV-1 with it, you can’t touch a Tiger H1, nor a Tiger ll obviously, you can’t kill T-34s unless you get close, you can’t even pen a Panzer IV from the front.

Wiesel is SPAA, the Sub l ll at 5.3 also gets a 20mm with 66mm of pen on a better platform as well, Kugel gets more pen at 7.0, the M53 gets 90mm at 6.3.

These vehicles are completely pointless and utterly useless in most scenarios unless you get lucky with your targets, and that’s obnoxious.

None of those are as mobile as the Wiesel and Luchs and none of them get thermals and a laser range finder.
The Wiesel and Luchs both are scouting vehicles at their cores and they perform that role incredibly well in WT, especially when working together with SPHs or sniper tanks.

OSA is literally a copy of the old spaa before saclos. The missile has perfect controllability the entire flight.

doesn’t matter if you’re “mobile” if you get hit by 1 machine gun bullet you die.
Also being fast does not mean mobile, Wiesel going over ANY lump or divot will cause extreme movement, no STAB.

And conversely the lack of survivability or a stabilizer doesn’t matter if the vehicle in question isn’t supposed to be used offensively.

The Sub is very mobile, 25hp/t, 60km/h, 60 degree turret rotation, 4 crew.

Can also just take out the Leopard 40/60 at 6.0 with 93mm of pen.

It might say its an AA, but we all know its not. Similar AAs in other trees are actual AAs. This should correctly be viewed as a support vehicle, as we can see its given APDS. The ONLY good thing on it, is the thermals.
If you’d like to compare similar AAs, lets look at RUS

ZSU-23-4M2 “Shilka-M2” 7.3
4 cannons
4000 Round belt
Stabilizer
Better vertical/horizontal targeting, slightly higher fire rate.

This is an AA.

The wiesel is not.

I never claimed the Wiesel was meant to be a SPAA.
It’s a scouting vehicle with the ability to defend against low flying airborne threats.

The Shilka on the other side is much larger, much slower and doesn’t get thermals or a LRF.

And the Wiesel, despite it’s way smaller form, thermals and whatnot, is still utterly useless in both air and ground offense, as will the Luchs be.

Please tell me when scouting vehicles are NOT supposed to be offensive.
Again, doesn’t matter if it has LRF or Thermals, when they do literally nothing to aid the vehicle. If you took both of those off, it would remain the same.

Cant sit in the spawn as an AA because of only +45 vertical targeting. Can’t sit in spawn cause I can’t scout. Can’t go to point since 1 mg bullet kills you. Can’t flank for the same reasons.

Im assuming they added this an an “AA” because “Germany was lacking” when it was added. Now years later, you can finally correct it, as more vehicles/power creep and BR changes have happened.

Looks like Gaijin forgot to mention that in this update you now have a bomber only air mode :D

Seriously though something is borked in Air Arcade. Play first match fine, join second match and if you have no bombers in your line up you are stuck in the spectators area. Switch nation, play first match fine, second match again bombers only. Looks like someone messed up the spawns :D

Oh, I dunno, maybe when they are only armed with a weapon that lacks the firepower to destroy, or even just damage the targets they would face?

I’m sorry that you can’t just zoom around in the Wiesel or Luchs and shred MBTs (or mediums and heavies). Their true potential lies within the combination of small size, great mobility, thermals, LRF and the ability to scout.

Of course you aren’t going to get much out of those features if you don’t work with someone else together, but that doesn’t mean they should be ignored when it comes to BR balancing.
