Last 2 months or so I’ve noticed my WTA app doesn’t not update/ refresh my account - ie stats, levels, progress, squadron etc. have to log out and log back in and then everything is as current. Any one else having issues?

Same issues. I just reinstall the game. A pain but I don’t know of any solutions. Moreover, the damn app takes ages to ‘update’ the data when you scroll up if it even works.
It updates if you log out and log back in for some reason

Yeah I’ve noticed that too, however it had been working fine up until the last few weeks/ months

Should be working now it updated today for me.
