@Stona_WT, Will war thunder live downloaded camo, player made missions that I myself installed can be banned? and other mods running around and some other software like Logitech G Hub, GeForce Experience or even Riot Client? and I’m on Steam so when is BE coming to steam?

So over time you’ll be transferred to BE. But i was under the impression BE doesn’t support linux? So I’m guessing temporarily Linux users will still be able to play via EAC?

But I’ll ask this, how many people here thinks that changing to BE is not needed and causing even more problems? (Looking at people playing Rainbow 6 Siege complaining about it)

The Problem Peeps have is not that we get a new Anti-Cheat.
It’s because of Battle Eye which is known for False Positive Banning.
It doesn’t happen often but it happens and you usually don’t get to appeal the ban.
I have 0 clues how it will be here and I couldn’t care less.

- already answered - same like with EAC
- you need to check on BE page (or google). I do not know compatibility of all apps from internet, so cannot answer such questions :(

For now Linux (and for example Steam clients) are in line to transfer.
What do you think of this changes in AC software?
Nobody asked the most important question.
Are we gonna get this as a decal? I am in an urgent need to ciclopify my tanks.

Just your thoughts about the changing from EAC to BEAC. For me it’s not too positive.
As someone who had to install 3rd party software to get rid of this “golden standard” trash cause it wouldn’t let me start ARK, wouldn’t uninstall correctly or let me do a fresh reinstall…can’t wait to stop playing WT due to the same happening

So something as benign as mouse software might be a enough to get perma-banned but WT is not going to tell us what exactly we cant use?

BattleEye has a habit of falsely banning players due to high ping (what it sees as a lag switch), there’s various examples of this on the Tarkov and RS6 community
i know you’re just a community manager, but i implore you guys to rethink this decision, after all of it (EAC) isn’t broken, don’t fix it

Is the deployment of BE the same as EAC is currently? Where some false triggers can, if rarely, happen and it just prevents the game from opening, or just closes it if it’s already running?
That gets complicated when WT might consider ‘Logitech G Hub software’ a cheat.

I am playing War Thunder on steam deck. In the one of the last update, GTA Online also added Battle Eye anti cheat and stop providing support to Linux/steam deck players. Will you continue to support this platforms after the update?
