Raam smoke grenade burst on lws detection does not work as in dev server. Lws looks like its not working properly

There is no automatic smoke burst on lws detection though, it never was iirc.

The APS is just a visual decoration as of now, just like on the dev server.

I know all the reports and yet nothing. They are completely ignoring the Abram’s.

Mutsu and Bf 109 C are nice to see, as is the twin-gun fix for Shounan.

The Naval shell shrapnel changes seem solid so far, the FCS is nice in concept but absolutely needs to be relative and not north-is-up, the automatic flaps seem really handy too, and now we can run the big 1000kg bomb with the siren Stuka! Lots of other nice QoL improvements too. :)

No. on the dev server a smoke barage was fired off automatically. not happening on live server

no AIM-9P4 for F-104S???

Just a thought, but if you make a “new” map, and must make half of it unusable, maybe it wasn’t worth being added in the first place.

Same, esp with this patch…not one thing worth spending money on since I like tt. Remember, though, look at them and where they’re from…last thing they want is USA being reasonably in tune. They make them juuuuust good enough to keep people buying. Course, I have yet to see an Abrams m1a1 knocked out in one shot, let alone blasted like more modern Russian mbt’s.

Because it was never meant to happen, it was probably a bug.

They said it in the dev blog, automatic smoke won’t be a thing on the live server.

ye ikr? not a single vehicle dropped for sweden after all these leaks, we are talking about 4 vehicles leaked and none dropped…(not counting the strv121)

After the update, I had momentary freezing problems for a while, maybe someone has the same problems.

Yea im most upset that we didnt get the Tridon or Lvkv m/43 both would and will be better than the Lvkv 42. Ive been trying to get information regarding the Lvkv 42 from Arsenalen where it housed in storage

imho your key message is this:

…and this is true, but imho you have to choose your poison / or at least decide your position:

  1. Do you want to play a mode called Air RB (whilst being more or less just Air AB+) in a video game with fantasy flight performance thanks to fuel loads not even close to reality just to gain an advantage (min fuel spammers)

or:

  1. Do you want to have more realism in so called “Realistic” Air battles. Only then references to irl (like planes with good range) make actually sense.

With #2 you are in the absolute minority as wt is at the end of the day just a plain shooter. And in a shooter all stuff which helps you to get kills is highly appreciated by most players.

So arguing that already existing fantasy settings based on the randomly defined 30% of internal fuel capacity as minimum fuel would be a punishment at prop BRs is comprehensible, but imho misleading.

It is way more likely gaijin has set this value by chance as they had no better idea.

I do not see that the 30% min fuel limit is as realistic as gaijin describes Air RB:

Air Realistic Battles is a mode whose missions take place where real battles of World War II and other military conflicts occurred in the middle of the 20th century. Players are divided into teams by countries participating in the conflict and can choose only aircraft of the country whose side they are on after joining the battle.
In this mode, aircraft behave realistically: for example, aircraft can get into a spin or run out of fuel, and the wings can be ripped off at high speeds.

As written above - imho comprehensible if you see Air RB as a video game with just loose connections to irl.

But as soon as realistic, realism or irl is used in debates regarding wt things get complicated.

A solution for this issue might be a min fuel setting of 25 minutes for all aircraft - at least for props. This would level the play ground for all and might be suited to deal with conceptual disadvantages of stuff like US long range escort fighters and prevent that you meet guys using min fuel in already op aircraft to further increase their performance advantage.

Btw: My most flown props have min fuels of 60-90 minutes :-)
