Yeah… It actually lacks armor, but it’s not like it’s impossible to play. It just makes it more undesirable to play

Let’s figure it out.
Gaijin want to put a LT in Chinese 10.7, then they decide to put VT5 to that position.
If any other LT, same performance same tier, won’t cause the current controversy.
The point is VT5 is not such a LT.

So that lead us to another topic, Warthunder is not a game “based on reality” anymore.
All the data and vehicle performance can be adjusted according to Gaijin’s need, just like other normal game.
