But you still need VT4A1 while playing top tier, APS is the only way you survive in last few minutes of game, I’m looking forward to ZTZ99B with GL6 or VT4B
Now it’s gotten better because we have the Abrams lol, for the time being I will probably get the Oplot and stay at 12.3. The VT4 should be 12.0 highest and better yet 11.7, it’s worse than the WZ1001 pretty much every way, when br compression kicks in it should be moved to where it belongs, else I would call the compression fails. Merkavas 4 at 12.3 are several times better than the VT4

Research the VT4A1, it is not a meta vehicle, but is extraordinarily unique. Instead of grinding VT-4 modifications you can just skip it and go for VT4A1.
I use ATGM against verhicles that are behind cover that APFSDS can’t penetrate the frontal turret and bring only 2 ATGM with me in battle.
no, m10 has worse mobility and worse gun handling. also vt5 has an autoloader which means it can keep the 5 second reload even if loader dies(i know it vt5 doesnt have a loader but still you get my point) whereas the m10 does not have a 5 second reload if loader dies. also the 5 second reload is something you only get if you ace the crew. m10 also does not get access to he vt. also no laser warning system on the booker. it got removed on the dev server. ah and 31mm of pen isnt that big of a difference, you barely will notice it.

Here are some realities:
HE VT does not impact BR for tanks.
M10’s fires a notably superior round. 602mm of angled pen vs 566mm.
M10 has superior gun depression.
Neither have good gun elevation speeds. Both are adequate.
If you lost a loader in a light tank, there’s more things to worry about [and VT5 died to ammo rack].
As for mobility:
M10 Booker: 20: 1
30: 3
40: 6
50: 10
-20: 2
-30: 4
Traverse: 13
VT-5: 20: 2
30: 4
40: 6
50: 10
-20: 2
-30: 4
Traverse: 9
Outside traverse being slower, the mobility is extremely similar when crews are the same.
Dev server is irrelevant.

The difference is gun handling is actually noticable.
Especially since the M10 hull has funny gun depression blindspots on the corners of the hull.
no lws on the booker, either way booker is fine at 10.7. its not blatantly overpowered like the 2s38 at 10.3. usa lacks a good light tank at this br. i think booker should stay at 10.7 and vt5 should go down to 11.0 or something like that.
Your post is defending the 2S38 with all life while downplaying the capabilities of M10 Booker.

The M10 Booker’s equals are all around 11.7.
2S38 is 0.3 below where it should be.
0.3 is not higher than 1.0.
Oh, and if M10 Booker is so allegedly balanced at 10.7, then you should have no issues with Sprut M staying 10.0.
Which I myself have issue with being 10.0 myself.
However, the Sprut M has like 8mm of effective armor protection, a T-72A aiming speed, and terrible gun depression on a tall chassis. So it is objectively worse than M10 Booker.
Having played it the M10 could easily be moved to 11.0 and would still be fine. Hell part of me thinks that 11.0 is probably the more appropriate BR for it. However moving it to 11.3 or higher will kind of just kill off the M10.
But yeah the VT5 should definitely move down to 11.3.
in what way am i defending the 2s38? also i didn’t say booker is bad in any sort of way. either way booker at 10.7 is not even the problem, its vt5 at 11.7 that needs to be lowered in br. also i dont think you should be worried about the booker at 10.7 when you have things like 2s38’s and the new bmpt at a lower br than the booker. its straight up op and needs to move up in br.
