My guess is the VT-5 they have with the obesity kit armour package is based off the generic VT-5 export but they assumed it would carry over. Maybe it does and we’ll see something similar to the XM8.
I’m not well versed with the armour packages used by the Bangladesh VT-5 versus the normal VT-5 (let alone the ZTQ-15/Type 15).
Well there shouldn’t be any limitation anymore, the autoloader is not a carousel and the turret roof has a raised area. When I look in the x-ray after depressing the gun there is still a huge amount of space above the breech to recoil.
Max gun depression angle
Looks to be around -7 to me, ingame there is too much of a gap between the gun depressed at -5 degrees and the driver vision slit.
But based on the VT-5 Model in game, the breach and turret roof easily fits -8 degrees of gun depression. So Gaijin is always wrong. It’s either their turret model is wrong or their stats for the gun depression is wrong. But since we don’t have any hard evidence like a design document or export document explicitly stating the gun depression, they will never listen.
I don’t believe there is anything that explicitly states that the gun depression is -5 degrees aswell, so Gaijin here are also just making up stats as they see fit.
After removing parts of the gun breach guard that aren’t supposed to be attached to the breach. I actually estimate the in game model can accommodate 9-10 degrees a downward elevation. I just want to point that out, i’m not using this as the evidence for it to actually have such kind of depression.
