They specifically detail WW2-era sim battles, so this is irrelevent. They are correct - sweden/finland should be on the axis side during this time.

Yeah, this whole proposal is about ww2 era… I dont really give a f about modern stuff anyway. Is it that hard to read the title?
Even up to the modern day they are on the same side as former axis nations. Germany, Italy, Sweden and Finland are all in NATO, and Japan is aligned with the west. The only real grey zone is how Sweden and Finland were neutral during the cold war, and even then they both leaned more towards NATO than the Soviet Union.

Despite so many people on here telling us that the game has millions of players ,it simple does not and on certain servers at certain times you really struggle to find enough people for a game so the game throws whatever it can together whenever it can.
You often get any nation thrown in or you wait forever for a game. Probably the same issue as BR. I suspect the game is too broad for its own good now.

Yeah, getting in game in sim battles can take a while. Even more so when you got 3 nations aggainst 6.

Again its probably not going to change as Sweden is the primary nation and were neutral, if Finland were the Primary tree it would definitely have been changed.

Well neutral =/= they were allies. Neutral is neutral. If thats your reason you want them removed from sims. But thats silly and unreasonable.
Only solid reason to choose their side in simulators is their subtree that actually fought in ww2. And that chooses Axis side.

Both should be Axis. Sweden kept pleasing Germany most of the time while Finland… well, you know what happens there.

Yes, Sweden was shitting itself at a possible Soviet advance through Scandinavia, so although its position during the Winter War was neutral, they supplied weapons and volunteers to Finland.
Edit: Sweden was non-belligerant, different from neutral.

Well there is no other way to interpret them.
If you say Sweden should in your opinion out value any form of Finish presence in ww2 “Because they are the main tree and finland is just subtree” then you want them to be removed from sims because Sweden alone has not enough reason to be Axis even less so Allies in ww2 era.
Unless you are trying to say gaijin is not going to do anything about it. “because gaijin is lazy” or something which is no a reason not to do anything about it. So dont talk about it unless you have an actuall reason.
I am stating my own reason for why gaijin hasn’t changed them, i believe that because Sweden is the main tree and Finland is a subtree that is why they haven’t been put on Axis. I never said whether they should or shouldn’t, i simply explained what i believe is gaijins reason.
They should probably go with germany, but it will be kinda weird
