Because by not saying anything it baits a foreign military into a false sense of security?

“The enemy can see us”
“Ok”
“We must become even more invisible, ja?”

Imagine if the Brits had done things that made the Germans assume they’d broken Enigma way before they actually came out and basically said it. They would’ve acted differently.

Point is, there are many examples in history of militaries adjusting to what their enemies do. It is a good and bad thing, depending on perspective.

if they got detected, they would know…

idk how you can detect a stealth plane without its rwr screaming

Allat, and f35 still wont be meta, near subsonic and competing with j20 of all things

Modern radars have LPI, so very low chance of any RWR detecting their emissions (unless they’re very close)

It was developed specifically to detect stealth fighters without alerting them.

Another boring update, at least this time they fix the stupid Ardennes(or maybe not?)…

They have as far as i know been steadily upgraded incrementally instead of doing a large upgrade all at once. Though i’m not super knowledgeable so take it with a grain of salt.

You are confusing a radar ping with a radar track/lock. Stealth aircraft will get RWR pings even if the radar isn’t “seeing” them because they still pick up the radar waves.

Tomorrow we’ll see if it’s time to bug report with the proper smokes count.

You should ask that question to yourself, US doesn’t like to look too strong on paper, like how the military parade last year was bleak while china makes it insane

exactly.

so that mean if the us detect j20, the chinese would know.

Updating the F-22 is like going to retired engineers to fix an out of production computer

Hm. i see.
Well i saw they’re finally giving the F-22 IRST, even if its in a external pod.

i never judge a power with how much they showcase.

By using IR-scanners and trackers. You would probably also be surprised by how far away you can detect an airplanes engine noise.

No it doesn’t??? You still get the RWR pings REGARDLESS if it can see you or not. And like I said the US wouldn’t say they can detect it as a matter of OPSEC.
