that’s about as far along in integration as the Aim260 is , my theory is that the US are delaying it so they can ship F-35s with the Aim260 first to boost sales over the meteor.

Thats cause the f35I is an israeli produced jet, but every f35 is more british than it is american so that point is also empty

the most modern sams that the f22 flew close is the s300 or kubs

Literally the F-35I its more unique to the nation than any other NATO country that also operates the F-35.
Also Israeli its actively developing new armament for their planes, also theres talk of Israel developing anew next gen aircraft with coop with India.
Japan in compare its just receiving US planes and armaments with few unique things. Literally they needed to add 2 subtrees to keep it alive
