Video Digest 28.07.2025

Welcome to our weekly digest of our new YouTube videos featuring the Swedish Saab Draken interceptor, the Soviet KV-2 tank, the South African IFV Badger, the best tactics for the MLRS, and, of course, a new episode of the Thunder Show.

Don’t forget, you can now use video subtitles!

MLRS in War Thunder

We’ve made multiple videos talking about cannon artillery, but rocket artillery has received much less coverage. In this video we’d like to talk about the best tactics for multiple launch rocket systems.

KV-2 — Pillbox on Tracks

This menacing silhouette is unmistakable. Not long after its debut in World War II, the KV-2 tank earned the dramatic nickname “Russian Colossus”: its armor was impervious to the standard anti-tank guns of the Wehrmacht, while its own heavy-caliber weapon could destroy almost any opponent with ease. Even when disabled, KV-2 tanks remained a headache for German forces — moving them often required explosives or special equipment.

Thunder Show: ALL FOR ME?

It’s actually hard to describe the replays we have for you in this episode. The skies mixed up with the ground, some players got divination skills… It’s pure bedlam! Still fun to watch, though

Badger IFV: Autocannon on Wheels

The combination of “wheels and an autocannon” has long been a great recommendation in War Thunder. Multiple ground trees feature such vehicles, usually equipped with an eight-wheel chassis and a 25 or a 30-millimeter gun. This is one of them: a new South African IFV, the Badger.

Saab Draken: Delta Dragon

With the development of jet aviation after World War 2, the militaries of the world recognized the danger of high-altitude high-speed bombers. The new threat could not be counteracted with any of the fighters available at the time. The situation needed a solution, and fast. As early as 1948, the Swedish Air Force considered the issue and announced some rather ambitious requirements for a new interceptor.
