How Does Stealth Work?
More and more modern vehicles feature stealth as part of their design. Even the War Thunder roster already counts quite a number of stealth vehicles. But how does it work? In this video we’re going to find out what stealth means for aircraft!
Bushmaster — Unlock Its Full Potential
Bushmaster cannons are a shared feature across a wide range of infantry fighting vehicles: from the American Bradley to the Swedish CV90 to the Israeli Namer, as well as many others. Developed by Hughes Helicopters near the end of the Cold War for the Bradley fighting vehicle, the Bushmaster was designed as a versatile weapon capable of engaging light vehicles, infantry, and even tanks or helicopters. Its success turned the gun into a benchmark and, eventually, a standard for autocannons. You’ll find it on many modern combat vehicles — let’s talk about the ways you can unlock its full potential.
Thunder Show: WINGS OF CHAOS
We’re learning to drop ludicrously powerful bombs, beat the records of real-life vehicles, and one-tap targets at some devilish ranges.
VCC-80/60: Saboteur from Italy
A ground vehicle’s armament can often be predicted by looking at its class. Most IFVs are equipped with 25- or 30-mm autocannons, while MBTs have standard guns with calibers between 105 and 125 mm. However, there are much more exotic variants available in War Thunder, such as the Italian VCC-80/60 IFV.
Mirage 4000: Fighter of the Future
Around the middle of the Cold War, Dassault engineers finalized their unique approach towards aircraft development. After the Ouragan, a fighter-bomber that was pretty typical for its time, France transitioned to delta-wing designs. Supersonic flight required completely new ideas and approaches. Of course, Dassault wasn’t the only company to use delta wings: there are plenty of other famous aircraft with this design. But the French made tailless delta-wing planes their hallmark, and few would doubt that their creations were among the most impressive ones.
