For the Eastern Front, although it ended at 8th with the capitulation of Germany, the words took around a day to reach, thus the Victory day for Eastern Front is celebrated 9th instead.
Formally yes, but in fact only the war of the USSR against Nazi Germany.
But we have the attributes (picture, decal, decoration) of a common victory. Gaijin wanted to satisfy everyone, and it’s funny. They want everything at once, but they’re afraid to say it.
Well with capitulation of Germany thats one less Axis power for all of Allies, and thats huge for whole Europe, as Japan wasnt a threat there as it was to China/USSR/USA and a number of other countries.
So this date is in fact a closure of Eastern Front, thus being a Victory day for the Eastern Front, but not the WW2.
Saying only USSR attributed to Eastern Front would be very wrong.

It’s not me saying, it’s the gaijin.
Repeat. They want everything at once, but they’re afraid to say it. Russians don’t celebrate the Eastern Front, they have no such concept. For this forum, a blurry description of some kind of victory, for that forum, only their victory. And common awards.
This date is mandatory for gaijin, but they can’t say it here.
Great Patriotic War is literally same as Eastern Front, except taken from the point view of USSR’s start.
Hence why you see it being specified at Great Patriotic War at Russian forum as thats basically Eastern Front is.
If you literally wiki Great Patriotic War in Russian and switch to English language it will literally change from Great Patriotic War to Eastern Front.
Plus they have never said it was only USSR to attribute, literal text from both forums implies several countries contributing.
Eastern Front is exactly what Great Patriotic War is for Russia.
They can.
It’s an end to Eastern Front earned by multiple countries and why is it only Russian forum that can share the holiday by your logic?
Gaijin literally paid for artists to draw a decal showing 4 different Allies soldiers as faces of the Victory for one of decals.
Though I believe it could have a better alternative:
Spoiler
Ok.
And if you don’t switch? Translate, please.
They are always repeating and there are always tournaments every few days depending on mode. it would completely flood the timeline if they announced every tournament that was going to start.
Articles are writen by native English Speakers.
If you have any question to text or something is not clear for you, ask here.
One thing I don’t get is, why dance around the words?
“Tens of million of people from multiple nations” - which nations?
“the war would come to an end” -Which war?
Today marks the day Nazi Germany was defeated by the Western Allies and the USSR. Is that so hard to say?
i think its confusingly worded as there certainly are flags on ground vehicles. The category is even called “World Flags”.
Obviously we are talking on Victory Day. Sorry if that not obvious enough for you. Next time we will try to be more literal in the text.
Now I see your confusion. I (and from my understanding also Ibash_Aminoas) was talking on flag visible in article - literally it’s a flag - (navy flag - animated flag that can be used on vessel in game) , not decal (flag decal).
We do not have such flags (animated flags) for ground vehicles.
It’s more of a case of being blunt. State what it is don’t make it over wordy. Otherwise neato, I’m definately going to attempt to get the 1928 Chicago Typewriter.
hash tag get bankrupt
Have fun creating a list of participants…
It’s May 8th aka V-E Day. Is it that hard to guess which war?
This is awesome, but at the same time, I can’t understand why Gaijin has the Legends of Victory event requiring players to earn 35,000 Mission Score for 6 stages each ultimately for a Rank III vehicle. That’s pretty steep for a Rank III vehicle.
oh would it be neat if i could put the flag of victory on one of my tanks
Bad news if you are German
They’re Victory Day tournaments. They’re only held once a year. They have significantly higher rewards than regular weekly ones. They have announced them every year before this before the tournament series started, they thought it was important enough to do it again this year, just this time they didn’t do it until 4 of the 14 were already over. Come on, they dropped the ball because their PR was late.
Field marshal Keitel, after signing the document on the surrender of Germany, saw representatives of France. The field marshal could not resist and asked: “Did these guys defeat us too?”
